There I was walking around in a castle with my lantern. Then that's when I heard it. A heavy breathing coming from behind a weak wooden door.
"Hellooooo? Helloooooo! Anybody in there?" I hesitated as i opened the door a little.
I saw him, The Bro. I hurried and closed the door and ran screaming. I went to hide in a closet. The Bro was walking closer by the sound of his heavy breathing. I froze as he came in the room and started searching for me. I held my breath as he neared the closet. Then he opened it up and found me. I screamed bloody murder but he disappeared.
"Fucking fakes! I fucking hate them!" Then I spotted some barrels by the closet. "I knew it! You fahking barrels! I FAHKING HATE YOU!" I yelled at the barrels as I threw them out of the room.
Mumbling to myself I walked into another room and searched for items that I needed. Then I saw him, my best friend Stephano.
"Stephano! Where have you been? The barrels betrayed me again and The Bro found me. Thank God it was a fake." I sighed and smiled weakly.
"Bad to hear that Pewdie. But shut up and let me lead the way. Cause I know my way around here better than you do Pewdie." Stephano replied smirking.
"Okay Stephano what ever you say." I said relieved that I had Stephano with me.
Stephano led me to a room filled with pigs.
"Piggeh! Oh a whole army of Piggehs! Stephano why'd you lead me here?" I asked.
"I figured you needed to cheer up first before you went against The Bro again. So I led you to your happy place." Stephano smiled kindly.
"Aww thanks Stephano!" I laughed as Piggeh started to dance around saying 'I'm pumped'.
After a few minutes we left the room full of Piggehs. Stephano randomly led me into a room with a lock on it.
"Do you have the key Pewdie?" Stephano asked me.
"I'm pretty sure. But it might not be the right one." I said fumbling through my backpack of goods. "Ooh! A candy bar!"
"Focus Pewdie! Find the key and see if it's the right one!" Stephano snapped frustrated."
"Fine." I goaned.
I found the key and put it in the lock. It was a perfect fit. Stephano sighed in relief.
"Why are you relieved? We don't know what's in there yet!" I questioned him.
"I'm relieved because if the key didn't work you would've hade to use me! And that would've hurt." Stephano mumbled.
I opened the door and ventured inside. I stopped dead as I spotted The Bro in the corner.
"Stephano. I'm gonna die." I whispered to him.
"Non-sense Pewdie! I'll defeat him for you." Stephano said as he changed into a human.
I stared at him in awe as he withdrew his sword. Stephano signaled me to hide in the closet so I did as he told me. I peeked out from the closet to watch Stephano fight my rival. Hopefully it was a fake. But when Stephano reach The Bro he didn't disappear.
"Damnit! Come on Stephano you can defeat him!" I whispered to myself.
Stephano raised his sword and sliced one of The Bros bands off and yet still cutting some flesh. The Bro gunted in pain as Stephano cut the monsters arm and made a deep gash. The Bro clawed at Stephano and scored down his chest. Stephano gasped in pain as blood oozed from his wound. The Bro clawed again and scored Stephanos shoulder blade. Stephano slowly fell onto his knees dropping his blood-stained golden sword to the ground.
"Finish me off monster. I have lived my life. Even though I am still young I beg you to kill me instead of my friend Pewdie. He has more to live for than I do. So do your worst!" Stephano challenged The Bro.
The Bro smiled at this deal. He raised his claws and slashed Stephano's throat with no problem. Blood waterfalled out of Stephanos wounds.
"STEPHANO!" I launched out of the closet and caught Stephano before he fell to the ground.
"Pewdie. I did it for you. I wanted to stop all The Bros from trying to kill you. Because you're my best friend..." Stephano shuddered violently before he died.
"Stephano." I said softly as I started to cry.
Before I had the time to say goodbye to my friend he disappeared into air. I wiped my eyes to make sure they weren't playing tricks on me. But they weren't. Stephano was gone. I was alone in this castle with no one to protect me from The Bros like Stephano did. All i had was Piggeh and Mr.Chair. But I wanted Stephano more than them. I had to accept that Stephano was no longer with me. The Bros were leaving me alone at least for now. And I was free to escape the castle without a scratch on me from The Bros. No. I was going to stay here until I said my last words to Stephano.
