Eve Salvatore was the middle Salvatore sibling and the oldest when it came to being a vampire having been turned before both her brothers.

Over her many years of living, she had loved and lost however that all changed when she met him Elijah Mikaelson a original vampire.

The two seemed to understand each other despite the fact Eve was many years younger than the original vampire.

This eventually lead to them falling in love with each other and ultimately getting married making her Mrs.Mikaelson.

Everything was fine that was until his family came back into the picture and things quickly spiraled out of control.

Eve found herself caught right in the middle of a age long fued between the Mikaelson family something her dear husband had not mentioned would come along.

All of his siblings minus Rebekah seemed to despise Eve mainly because most of them had some beef with her dear brothers who Eve barely spoke with.

Now at the current time a rather bad fight had broke out amongst the siblings and Eve was caught dead center of it.

Why had the fight started? Well because Rebekah had brought up how Niklaus would always dagger them when he was fed up and this ultimately lead to Eve's dear husband Elijah stepping in to try and make peace.

However this only lead to the fight getting much worse and physical between the siblings leading to their current residency being in shambles.

Eve finally having enough of these petty fights decided to speak up though she would come to regert this
"Enough!" She yelled catching the attention of her husband and his two siblings.

"Enough? Who says that you get a say in this? You aren't even a actual part of this family" Niklaus growled annoyed by the fighting and the interruption from this woman.

"Darling I do believe that Niklaus is right that you shouldn't have a say after all you don't understand what's going on" Elijah spoke though his voice didn't hold annoyance like his brothers did.

Eve upon hearing her husbands words went silent it seemed like she really had no say in any of this despite having become apart of the family through marriage.

Though the fighting only got worse and that lead to this point, what point you might be wondering?

Well Niklaus grabbing Eve roughly by the arm and pulling her close to him
"If I am to be the villain then so be it" he said roughly forcing her head to the side as he bit into her neck.

Eve upon feeling him bite her let out a rather loud scream because everyone knew werewolf bites could kill a vampire and the only cure was Niklaus's blood and he was definitely not going to give it.

After her scream, Niklaus dropped Eve to the floor blood around his mouth, he wiped it away from his mouth and looked directly at Elijah before he took off without a word.

Eve placed a hand to her neck still in shock from what had just happened but she could feel the affects of the venom beginning to start
"Elijah..." She said his name with a shaky voice.

Elijah quickly rushed to his wife's side and picked her up in his arms, holding her close to him as he rushed her to a room
"Don't worry Darling, I promise you that I'll fix this" he mumbled attempting to make her comfortable.

"Elijah...Please don't go we both know that Niklaus isn't going to give the cure so please stay with me" she mumbled though she was starting to fade.

Beginning to lose herself to the fever and hallucinations that came with having werewolf venom in ones system, she was dying and without Niklaus's blood nothing could be done to save her.

Elijah sat down next to Eve though he sent his sister a pleading look begging her to attempt to find Niklaus and reason with him.

Rebekah actually liking Eve and not wanting her to die, quickly left to attempt to seek out their dear brother and get him to cure Eve despite being who bit her to begin with.

Though it didn't take long for Eve to grow worse and at one point even biting her husband because of her overwhelming hunger and hallucinations.

Elijah wasn't affected by this of course however his fear of losing his wife was becoming worse as it reached closer to having been 24 hours since she was bit.

Generally vampires only lived 24 hours after being bitten then they died a very painful death.

"Elijah" Eve said his name having regained herself though it was only temporary
"You have to kill me please...I can't die like this please-!" She begged her husband as she weakly gripped onto him.

Elijah was shocked by this request but he didn't want his wife to suffer any longer however what if Rebekah arrived with the cure?

He felt conflicted as to what he should do though that was only until he finally truly looked at his wife.

Eve was covered in sweat and her eyes were dull because of the pain she was feeling, her skin had a very sickly tint to it.

Elijah felt for the first time in a long time a very true sorrow take over him
"Close your eyes darling" he said softly carefully placing his hand on her head gently.

Eve looked up at him one last time
"Thank you Elijah...I love you my dear husband" she mumbled closing her eyes.

Elijah mumbled a quiet I love you back to her before he ended his darling wifes life however fate seemed to be true.

As soon as Eve was dead, Rebekah came through the door with a bag of Niklaus's brother only to see that her brother had put his wife out of her misery.

~A few years later~

"Happy anniversary darling, I'm sorry that I'm a little late" Elijah mumbled as he laid a bouquet of flowers on a grave.

This grave was a private one with a private headstone that read
"Here lies Eve Mikaelson, loving wife of Elijah Mikaelson" and it also listed her date of birth and date of death on it.
