Again; taken from DeathStar_ I wanna make that clear so nobody gets upset at me- When he was 12 the young boy was kidnapped, after he left his sister behind on the way home from school, after they'd gotten into an argument. He spent 11 years there, being abused, and hurt. He tried three times to leave, resulting in hours of painful Torture each time. He managed to get out, when everyone was distracted with another kid.
1) You'd been his friend, as kids, hearing he'd been kidnapped you tried to stay in contact with the family, despite it being difficult with their parents dying a few years after he went missing, but you did your best. One day you see on the news that the boy had been found!
