Asra ran through the halls of the palace until he reached Nadia's quarters. The doors were swung wide open and he was greeted with almost all his friends who came for the exact same reason.

'You felt that too?' Everyone and even their familiars nodded in sync. Asra looked over and noticed Faust sitting quietly on Nadia's balcony, staring out that the endless ocean.

'Faust?' He practically whimpered. Faust just stared out at the water solemnly.

'Missing...' Asra pondered this as he shoved his hands into his back pocket, only for his hand to hit a piece of paper. Asra furrowed his brow as he pulled out the small paper and read it in his head.

'Dear Asra...I'm Sorry'

In small places all around Vesuvia, memories were slowly disappearing. A certain person silently faded from the photographs that were taken, letters that were received, spells that were cast and gifts that were made. Leaving behind nothing but blank paper and muddled wood.

Only one memory remained. A small carving in tree that sat old and crooked in the palace gardens. The name of someone who was now foreign and unknown. The carving would remain on the side of the tree while everything else withered. The carving sat lonely, with only a glimpse of a chance at being found.
