As her thoughts flow by
Like an endless river
She pours out her soul
To the empty sky
Looking for solace
In its seamless hue
Hoping for comfort
In the glittering sun
But it blinds her
Leaving her defenseless
And the wind deafens her
Leaving her exposed
And her heart mutes her
Leaving her alone
But with no obstructions
She finds her own
Self within the recesses of her mind
And she returns
Smiling at the warmth
On her face
Relaxing at the breeze
Surrounding her
And embracing her former pain
That has taught her so much
