A week later thirty Guardians had been assembled, ten of them magic casters.

Jazz, Elena, and Imira, daughters of Hecate, along with Sophia, daughter of Apollo, Hazel Levesque, daughter of Pluto, Noah, son of Nemesis, Liam, son of Apollo, Morgan, child of Hecate, and Harry, Legacy of Hecate, had been drafted for their magical expertise.

The rest of the Guardians were assault and scouting specialists, a balance between Hermes, Athena, Ares, Apollo, and two children of Posideon and three of Zeus.

Conner was there, in charge of a Scouting team, his half brother Chris leading the other.

Will Solace, son of Apollo was leading the medical team. And Annabeth herself was leading the heavy assault team, along with overall authority. Jazz had the largest team of all, in charge of all magic casters.

Harry was nervous about going to the wizarding world, seeing as how they still didn't know who was trying to keep him at the Dursley's but he was amongst his siblings in arms. He was safer here then anywhere else.

They stood in formation, Annabeth and the other Team Leaders inspecting their and each other's gear while Percy watched impassively.

"Ready," Annabeth yelled as the leaders rushed to stand at the heads of their lines.

Percy smiled at them all. "May your swords stay sharp, the gods pleased,"

"And the monsters with stuffy noses." The Guardians finished.

Percy snapped his fingers and the camp vanished, blurring into that gold that always came with divine teleportation, before fading into a view of a massive front lawn, looking up at a seaside mansion.

Their contact/client hurried up to them, bowing to Annabeth and speaking to the lieutenant, discussing accommodations.

Within an hour, the backyard had been turned into temporary HQ and a team of three Scouts and Two Magics was dispatched to Diagon Alley.

Harry began pitching his uncle's tent, whose owner had been dispatched. When he was done he went to help collect firewood and had the dubious pleasure of watching Josie, an Ares Guardian, kick a small bulb eyed creature fifty yards when it popped up inexplicably in her personal space.

She was immediately apologizing when Harry told her it was a house-elf, servants to pureblood homeowners, which made the tiny creature burst out crying at the care a half-god had shown him.

Harry picked up his firewood and magicked Josie's load to follow him and headed back to the hedge maze where the camp laid in the center.

Taking a shortcut, he leaped onto the top of the maze, using magic to solidify the leaves enough to bear his weight as he jumped over hedges.

Landing softly, he spun and drew a blade, pointing it at a shimmering patch of magic.

More blades were drawn as Harry dismissed the spell, revealing the 16-year-old witch hiding behind a glamour.

"Stand down. "Annabeth commanded, the only one out of mask. "That's Susan Bones, niece of our contact and resident of the Manor. Rookie, let her go."

Harry retracted his blades and gave a slight bow of apology to the girl, who had collapsed in relief that she hadn't been skewered.

"If you don't want to be found, start syncing your magic wavelength with that's around you." Harry murmured, carrying his firewood to the wood stack.

He didn't expect her to follow him, arms full of the wood he had dropped when he sensed her, but she appeared behind him all the same.

"What do you mean by 'wavelength?" She asked.

Harry tilted his head, catching the eye of Annabeth who nodded.

"Magic is everywhere, mortals and..." He paused, looking for the word.  "What do you call mortals who can't use magic?"

"Muggles. In the colonies they're No-majs but most of the world calls them Mundanes."

"Magic is in Mundanes then and every rock, plant, and creature out there. The only difference is how accessible it is. Wizards are born able to access and manipulate it, but it is everywhere. You can sense spells being used because it feels different than the natural background. For instance. The Bones Manor Grounds vs. The Beach. They feel different, yes?"

Susan nodded.

"And the same with your school and the middle of a magical vs. A muggle city. By matching the wavelength or background magic, stealth spells become much harder to detect, blending into the background. That is how I found you. You felt different from the magic of the grounds."

"How do you do that?" Susan asked, still following the masked boy as they went for more firewood.

"Practice. Meditation to sense and copy magic. It took me two years to figure it out."

"Is that how you can use wandless magic?"

"No. I stopped using a wand several years ago. I use a staff now, but only for the big things. I use these as foci for small stuff, and my hands for the rest."

He reached behind his back and removed two throwing knives, their blades engraved with runes.  He dropped one to the ground and held up the other. "Fos."

The tips of the blades lit up, making Susan gasp. "Amazing."

While Harry was teaching Susan, Amelia came down to the garden, wearing formal robes to remind people of her status as head of the DMLE.

"Lady Annabeth?"

Annabeth turned away from where she and a few others were keeping an eye on Susan and a masked guardian showing her magic.

Annabeth was one of the most beautiful and terrifying women Amelia had ever met, a warrior queen in the modern world.

She was also the only one who had removed their mask, the bronze full-faced mask hanging on her belt opposite her sword.

"Amelia."

"Dumbledore has called for a meeting of the Order of the Phoenix. If you want information, now is the time to get it."

She nodded. "Glenda! Lyre! Thief! With me!"

Three guardians ran up, one a girl with pale blonde hair like a Lovegood spilling from under her hood.

The second had deep blond hair tied in a braid that dangled under her cloak to her waist, a heavy bronze ring on the tip, shimmering with magic, a bow and quiver on her back and a med kit on her waist.

The third was a taller teen with a belt full of knives and thin needles. Amelia couldn't see his face but she got the feeling he was trouble.

"This is Glenda, a magic-user. She will be serving as a reference for me and our records."

The blonde bowed, purple eyes glowing behind her mask.

"This is Lyre. She will be our on site medic and long range specilist is worse comes to worse."

The blonde dipped her head,, untucking her braid from her cloak.

"And this is Thief. His brother, Monkey is with our away team."

Amelia gave each a small nod. Percy haad warned her that they used codenames in the mortal world, mainly to protect any still-living relatives and because the guardians thought it was fun and enjoyed coming up with them.
"A pleasure to meet you both. If you will hold on to me, I will apparate us to the Order of the Phoenix Headquarters. It's under Fidelius though.'

"I can get through." Glenda said, her voice light and airy. "Don't worry. "

" Alright. Let's go." Amelia said, and all five vanished.
