Everyone has left Cassie's house and we a are all back upstairs, playing monopoly. The people who are still here are, Cassie, Max, Alex, Annabelle, Tiff, Layla, Pip, And Me. We forced all the boys to leave.
11:30 Pm Friday.
"So, Cassie you said your parents are out of town right?" Max says
"Yeah, they'll be gone for 2 more weeks, why?" Cassie replied, rolling the dice.
"Why don't we all just stay here all week then?"
Cassie practically exploded with excitement at the thought.
"Y. E. S."
I guess we're staying here all week then...
"Sounds great! This is going to be the sleepover of sleepovers." I say running out of the room, looking back at Cassie with a smirk.
"Hey, just where do you- HEY GET BACK HERE! ASH!!"
I walk back into the room holding makeup and a nail art kit with 100 colors of nail polish.
"Time for makeovers!!"
Cassie and the other girls jump with excitement at the idea and all run into the bathroom, all you can here is screeching and laughter from the bathroom.
I stay behind in the guest room on my phone with Alex
2:00 Am Saturday
Everyone is asleep except for me, every time I close my eyes I just see mom. She is at Disney with me Matt and dad, and we're all happy, I can't bare the thought of waking up, so I just stop trying to sleep and go to her parents room.
I climb out of the window and sit on the roof.
"It's so peaceful up here."
I whisper to myself as I look at the completely still lake beyond the backyard. Oh what I would give for a normal life, I wish Matt never left, he was dumb for thinking he could just, go.
Is this my new home?
My mind is telling me to stay, never leave, live in secret with Cassie, but....
Sigh I don't know.
