Ok so basically there are three ways a vampire can suck blood, one: drain them dead/ two: take blood but not enough to noice and when the person wakes up they don't remember that they even seen a vampire (this is what most vampires do) / three: turn them into a vampire by sucking some of there blood and giving some of the vampire blood to the mortal (all of this is transferred threw the vampires teeth or fangs more like)
Rudolph doesn't know this.
Basically Rudolph hadn't had blood in a long time so in the movie 'the little vampire' he accidentally made the cow a vampire.
