Chapter20

Jeongin's POV

It has been two days since I have seen Hyunjin and not gonna lie, I miss him :(
We did text each other but I wanted to talk in person, but I'm too stubborn to admit that I want to see him. I tried to go outside my house just as an excuse to see if I would be able to see Hyunjin but I didn't. So... I decided to ask my mom cause she's now a good friend with Hyunjin's mom. I went downstairs and saw my mom cooking lunch for us since she has a day off. "Mom, what are you making for lunch?" I said while seating in the counter. "Oh, I'm making kimchi with some chicken" she said smiling while cooking.

"Umm, do you perhaps know about Hyunjin..." I said Hyunjin's name like a whisper. "Who?" My mom turned around, now facing me. "H-Hyunjin.." I said while a blush crept on my face looking away. Why am I like this??!! I tried to put myself together. "Oh, Hyunjin?" She said smirking but lasted two seconds and she turned around continuing what she was doing. "I haven't heard of him, why don't you go and visit him if you are that worried? Is not that like he lives a mile away from here, right?" She said with a chuckle and smiling. I got super flustered. "M-mom!" "A-aish" "o-ok, I will go" I said and went to the door, I put my shoes and went to Hyunjin's house.

I stood in front of his house debating if I should knock or just go to my house and just forget about it. "Yep, that's a better idea" I said to myself. As I turned around to leave I heard a door open. "Oh, Jeongin, sweetie, what are you doing here?" Shit! I turned around smiling awkwardly. "O-oh, hi Mrs.Hwang" I laughed awkwardly. "Come in" she gestured with a smile and there was no option but to go inside the house. I smiled and bowed slightly. "Sit there, I will be right back" she said gesturing me the sofa and then she left to the kitchen. I sat and put my hands on my lap looking at them. Omg, this is so embarrassing, what am I supposed to say or do?!

While I was questioning myself I saw some hand handing me a glass of water. When I look it was Hyunjin's mom. I smiled, took it and thanked her. She sat next to me. "What brings you here?" She asked sweetly. I was about to drink water and I almost shocked. "Are you ok?" She asked. "Y-yes" I smiled. "U-umm, well... I wanted to see if Hyunjin is ok since I h-haven't see him in two days.." I blushed. I looked at her and she smiled a lot. "Oh, Hyunjin hasn't been able to go out since he was a little sick" she said. I was surprised. Why he didn't told me that? Does he not trust in m-me? "Is he ok now??" I asked. She nodded "He is upstairs in his room, you can go and see him" she smiled and told me where the room was. I bowed as a thank you and went to his room.

I was standing in front of his room and I leaned toward just if I could hear anything, but I didn't. I decided to knock and I heard a soft "come in". And so I opened the door and went inside. I closed the door and faced to his bed. "I-Innie?!" "W-what are you doing here?" Hyunjin says quite surprise. I walked towards his bed  and sat next to him. I looked in his eyes with sadness. "W-what..?" Hyunjin asked. "Why didn't you tell me you were sick, Jinnie?" I said with a hint of sadness. His face went pale "I-I didn't want to bother.. Its not a big deal tho.." he said and I looked at him with a 'are you serious' look. "Or.. it is.....???" He said and I rolled my eyes. "Jinnie, of course it is!" "I thought you trust in me..." I said sad looking and the bed sheets.

My eyes were watering. Yes, am a soft and emotional baby. I felt his hand on my chin making me face him. I had a pout and watery eyes now. He chuckled and with his thumb he caressed my cheek which made me blush slightly. "I'm sorry.. I do trust you, you cute baby" he smiled. "I just didn't wanted to worry you since it was nothing serious" he said and I pouted more. "You silly" "You should've told me" I said pushing him slightly. He chuckled "Next time I will, ok?" He said sweetly and I hugged him slowly snuggling on his chest. He wrapped his arms around me and I looked at him still with a pout "You better" I said and snuggled my face in his chest again, then I smiled. He gave me a peck on my head and snuggled his face on my fluffy hair.
