(Aelin's POV)
I walked down the last step and quietly slipped into what looked like the kitchen.
It was quite large and was probably full of food. I'd love to say that I went over and binged but sadly I can't. Being starved for so long really does things to your body, if I try to eat a buffet on my own like I usually would I would simply throw it all up.
'Ah, screw you Maeve'.
I was surprised that the people holding me here didn't lock my door or weren't waiting for me downstairs, you'd think they'd be more cautious with a random stranger that came from nowhere.
Since no one was here to stop me I decided to look around. I mean, I might as well learn the territory.
So I once again began to carefully and quietly walk around.
_______After exploring the entire main floor, I felt a little tired. This place was huge. Whoever owns it must be very wealthy if they were able to afford all this stuff. Just one vase appeared more expensive then all of my belongings from my days as Celaena. Not that I would ever admit that out loud of course.
I decided to go to the dining room since it was closest to the exit if needed.
The only problem being as soon as I opened the doors, I was met with the stares of a lot of attractive Fae.
'Damn you human ears'.
