I rode with Josh in his car, so Aunt Thelsey didn't know I was coming to the banquet. It was nice to get out of the house to do something other than running errands.

When we arrived at the palace we went through the front gates, this was the first time I've been to the palace to do anything other than to cook, it looked like a different place knowing that I wasn't going in to i and sweat in the kitchen.

A valet came and parked the car, we drove to the palace in Josh's yellow, convertible mustang. It was bizarre to be waited on for a change.

When we went inside a person took my shawl, well its Alexis's she lent it to me for this night, it is yellow with little blue flowers on it.

We were led down a hallway lined with with velvet covered settees. Why would someone need a place to sit in a hallway that's filled with pieces of history? I could just spend hours going from pedestal to pedestal gazing at what has made my country what its is. When we got to the ballroom the announcer called out "Sir Josh Mcleben and guest".

Josh led me to the long hard wood table, and pulled my chair out for me. That was the first time someone ever pulled a chair out for me.

I sat down ever so flabbergasted and feeling out of place. I've never been waited on, I've always done the waiting on.

"Miss would you like anything to drink" asked a rather familiar waiter. "Eliza is that you? Why aren't you in the kitchen? We're shoot staffed tonight."

Upon hearing this I gaped like a fish out of water. I felt like a criminal. What was a lowly server doing sitting at the Queen's table? "I..I...um..I" I stammered as I stood up to head into the kitchen were I belonged.

"Eliza, where are you going" Josh asked as he grasp my arm.

"Tttto the"

"ELIZA! What do YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING" Aunt Thesley yelled interrupting my stammered response.
