Chapter 1

I live with my brother Aleem he is 4 years older than me I am 20. We always stick together, I always cheer him. Even though his inventions fail or worst explode. Well I also want to be a inventor. My brother is a failed scientist. He got kicked out after accidently causing a explosion on everyone that worked there. Let's just say they has blue skin for a few months, but it came off. So no worry about it, right, na let's just fire him.

Any way he now works as a mechanic I am his assistant and we get enough money for ourselves. Our parents decided to move away when I turned 18 years old, so two years ago. But him and me still try to do inventions and experiments. Today is our day off, so we are working on this invention called "Ignis" I don't know what that means. My brother is the one that named it, he said it involves fire.

Aleem POV (didn't expect that)

"Can you pass me the wrench Y/N" I say to my baby sister. She gets the wrench that is blue and F/C, yeah we got a pack that has our favorites colors. She passed it to be and I turn the last nut on the machine that I named "Ignis". "Hey Aleem we finished the machine, so what does it do?" asked Y/N. "Well this allows you to make fire be you favorite color, and don't worry it's inside this dome so it is safe." I say. "Are you sure about this Aleem?" she said.

"I am very sure about this and if this works then my next invention is to work for sure" I say. "What is you next invention?" my sister asked staring into my blue eyes. "It's a secret, I will not tell you what it does but I can give you the name" I said. Then my sister ruffles my black hair "tell me Aleem what is it's name?" "The name is "Vita" it is latin just like "Ignis" I say. "Man I wish I knew latin so I could understand", I chuckle at my baby sister.

She always funny but I know she will look for the blueprints, so I always have it with me, and she knows that she can't take it away from me. "So sis should I make the fire F/C or should I do blue for me" I say and smile a cheeky smile. "Al you know that I always wished to see F/C fire so yeah, do my favorite color" said my sister. "Alright then lets turn this baby on" after I say that I press a few button and then I full a lever.

Y/N eyes widen and I can see the F/C fire reflect from her E/C eyes. They are so pretty like Mom's, I sigh and look at a picture that is hanged on the wall. It had a man that had H/C hair and blue eyes, then a women that had black hair and E/C eyes. I really miss them also my sister, but they left us when I was 22 and Y/N 18. I got snapped out of thought when a red light starts blinking on the machine "Oh no no no this can't be good."

I try to turn off the machine but it's so hot that it burned my gloves but somehow not my hand. Y/N is just looking at it then she jumps when the fire turn from F/C to a bright orange and fills the dome. "RUN Y/N RUN I WILL GO AFTER YOU!" I scream at her. She starts running out of the house, there is no use to turn it off so I run behind my sister. When we are outside I know what is about to happen so I jump on her to shield her if needed. Then there is a explosion and we both pass out.
