SKASE: A Chase and Skye love story

Chapter 01

It was a sunny morning in Adventure Bay, as usual Chase is the first pup to wake.
Chase's POV
I don't know why Ryder told me to wake up the other pups early in the morning, but I think it's because that Ryder wants the other pups to be fit and healthy....like me. I got my gear on and the pup I always wake up first is Skye. I just really really like her. I don't know if she likes me or not but some day I will confess her. I wake her up comfortably, not with my megaphone. I don't really want to disturb her, but she's he one who helps he to wake up the others. I quietly tap on her pup house door and whisper, "Skye wake up its time to wake the others".

Skye's POV
I here someone tapping on my pup house door. I know it's Chase. I help him to wake up the others. I just love hearing Chase's voice in the morning, it make want to wake up in less than a minute. I seriously like him and I will confess him one day. I don't know if he likes me or not, but he definitely like me as a friend. He's pretty serious on missions but in other times he can be caring loving and playful.

Chase's POV
I could here Skye moving around in her pup house. I just love seeing her beautiful magenta eyes on the morning. Skye is the most athletic, bravest and the most friendliest pup I know. Also very pretty. Right after she got out of her pup house I greet her, "Good morning Skye" " Good morning Chase" , she greet me back. We walk up to other's pup house. I ruff out, "Ruff, megaphone!" "PUPS TIME TO WAKE UP, BREAKFAST!!!" I shout out. "Breakfast, where?!" Rubble wakes up immediately. "I said breakfast so can wake up firster so congratulations" I added. I see the others walking up to me. "Okay, why do we need to wake up so early?" Rocky asked me. "Ya can I go back to sleep?" Zuma added. "I wake up you pups early so we can do some exercise and stay fit" I don't think anyone wants to exercise early in morning, well I don't really like going it as well but Ryder always tell me to stay fit. "Alright pups lets do at least 3 rounds around the look out", I told them.

Skye's POV
I actually kind of like doing exercises in the morning, I mean me and Chase are both athletic and sometimes I challenge him to do things against me. After we did a few laps around the look out we did some yoga until Ryder calls us for breakfast. I had a crush on Chase ever since the day I met him.

Chase's POV
Me and the other pups were doing some yoga. I kept my eyes on Skye. I just wish that I could confess her but I don't have the courage to do it. I might need some help but I don't want my secret to be out. We were interrupted by Ryder calling us for breakfast.

Ryder's POV
I looked out from the balcony, I could see Chase and the others doing yoga out side the look out. I had Chase since he was a little pup. I care about him the most. If ever lost him I will never replace him. I decided to make breakfast for pups and call them to come and eat, "Pups breakfast!". "Yes breakfast!" Rubble comes in running. The last pups to come was Chase and Skye. I KNOW those two like each other.

Chase's POV
Ryder called us for breakfast and Rubble dashed into the look out like a rocket. I always sit next to Skye, well you know why. Even when I'm eating, I could never stop staring. Thank god she didn't notice that I was looking at her. After breakfast the pups went out to play something outside. Well I don't really get that much time to play these days. Ryder told me to go out for patrol everyday after breakfast.
Ryder gives me more assignments to do. I don't know why, I mean I am at least 13 years old. I try to spend as many hours with Skye but I don't have the time to. I start up my cruiser/truck, my cruiser is as old as me. I could really use a new one but Ruder will know the time to give me a new a vehicle.

Skye's POV
After breakfast we all went out to play soccer. Then I see Chase leaving in his cruiser or truck I guess. I try spend as many times with him but with all the assignments he have to do he doesn't really have the time to. He comes back from patrol after about 2 hours later. I'm still thinking when I'm going to confess him. I really want to tell him that I really like him.
Chase is also one of my best friends. He's loyal, kind and really caring. I remember ones that I have to save Alex from the kite surfing board, Chase looked pretty worried, but when I was managed to safe him he seemed really happy. Also I remember I had to save Chikalatta when me and Rocky went on the camping trip. And when I was able to save Chikalatta and to come out safely he looked worried and happy at the same time. Since those days I always think that he kinda likes me, but why would anyone like a small little cockapoo and Chase is German Shepard. He would never like me.
