Chapter 10

"What are we going to do today?" Taeyong yelled from the other side of the hall.
"You know you can just come in here or call me right" Ten replies in his morning daze. Taeyong walks to the end of the hall in his sweats and sneaks a kiss.
"How do you manage to look so cute in the morning. What are we doing today?" he repeats.
"I don't know...you know there isnt much to do in this town these days." Ten looks down at his phone at the date and frowns. Just then Tens mom pops up bright and early.
"Boys get ready for church." Taeyongs eyes widened. Ten walked to his closet and pulls out his clothes like normal. Tae sat on his bed.
"You have nothing to wear do you?" Ten said without turninng around.
"I know you dont. Just put on some black jeans and a button down shirt." He continued, Tae nodded and the whole family got ready.

Love of my Life

Me: why are you so quiet Tae??
Loml: my mom texted me, im going home today.
Me: really 🥺
Loml: sorry
Me: its fine. you only live like an hour away now.

Ten distracts himself by looking out the window but even that makes him want to cry. The drive is quiet Tae discreetly holds Ten's hand the whole ride there.
Be my fuck buddy...just wait on me. How long do I have to wait Taeyong huh hoe dont let my mf hand go. Don't leave.
They arrive at church a place personally the boys haven't been for a while. Everyone walks in and is greeted by smiles and music, Ten and Tae with side eyed looks. It's hard to not feel the eyes on you when you know that they are actually on you. I hate everyone in this damn town.
"Ten...Taeyong, How nice to see you kids. You haven't been around here much." A shady old lady says.
"Well we've been at school. You dont have much time to come home when you're working so hard. What about your sons I heard one went to prison." He takes a pause.
"Mhmm what a shame, I hope he is doing well." He left the woman speechless grabbed Tae by the arm and went to go sit it 2/3 of the people who actually care for him.
"What Ms.Anderson say" Ten's mom whispered to him. Ten rolled his eyes and him and his mom had a laugh moment.
About an 30 minutes to an hour later the pastor started to mention premarital sex to which Ten's dad vocally opposed.
"There they go again" Ten says and slouches in his seat a bit.
"Huh...what?" Tae replies.
"The eyes...they're staring again. Tae looks around skeptical that anyone cared,but to his suprise Ten was right. Tae made eye contact with 3 people, got uncomfortable, and then slouched down with him.
"Can I go to the bathroom?" Ten asked his parents, they nodded then Ten got up.
"Come with me please" He asked Taeyong, they both looked towards Ten's mom for approval. She agreed and let them go.
"You shouldn't have done that" Her husband said.
"Stop it...god don't like ugly. " she snapped back.

Ten let out a sigh of relief as he slide down the wall to the floor in the sunday study room. Tae slid down with them and they sat in silence for about a minute.
"I hate this place." Ten broke the silence.
" What church"
"Not church persay just this one. This one judgemental church. The woman asking why we haven't been home, her son is bi and the other is a domestic abuser. How dare she judge us because we haven't "been home." What does that even mean like." He rants, Tae just listens. This was his confession and Taeyong knew to not get in the way of it.
"Every time the pastor said straight I felt someone staring down my shits. Everytime his mentioned sex. How do they even know we had sex, they don't, they infer it because I'm gay, You're gay and to them they dont see a friendship. Two gay guy can be friends without them touching each other Ms.Charles" Ten took a deep breath and look at Taeyong implying that he could talk now.
"But we did have sex though,like a lot." he said.
"Shut up" Ten said dragging on the 'uh' part of up. The both stand and dustthemselves off. Tae stole another kiss off of Ten and then they walked back into service. As they walked down the aisle, everyone heads turn, but Taeyong was confused to why. They were just walking he thought until he looked down and saw that he was holding Ten's hand. He let go
"Sorry sorry" He whispered to Ten and they sat down.
——————————————————————————— Service finally ended and everyone was up walking around and talking. An old man walked up to the boys and asks "Are yall connected to god"
"Are you connected to life su-" Taeyong did Ten a favor and cut his sentence short.
"Yes sir, we are why do you ask exactly."
"I- um no reason. Just wanted to know"
"Out of all the people to talk to you ask the two who are minding their own business.Interesting.I have a question. How did you find out?"
   "Found out what son?"
   " That were are...gay"
   "Um- I don't know the rumor came from the sunday kitchen staff. I wasn't here that day but they said, Ten your dad asked the pastor to pray the homosexuality away. Your mom and sister left and everyone just started to talk. We've known you kids since you were babies and you were always together so...um I guess we assumed they same for Taeyong. Im sorry boys i just can't get with the new generational things. " The three went quiet. The man walked away and Ten went back to pouting.

   "Boys lets go." Tens mama alerted. Ten got up and started speed walking towards his father waiting by the car.
   "I hate you. With everything in me I hate you. You judge me, make me feel like a complete disappointment, and then this you Publicly Annouce that i'm gay and that you want to Pray that away. What type of father are you... why do you hate me so much. You shouldnt give two shit about who I love and decide to have sex with." Ten yelled causing everyone to turn around. This was the exact scene that the petty people of this town wanted.
    "Ten this isn't you" His dad stated camly.
    "But It Is and you would know if you got your head out of your ass and got to know me. Guess what sperm donor. I like men, not only that I'm in love with they guy that you made me be friends with. So if you want to blam anyone for my being gay blame yourself hoe." Ten stormed off and naturally Taeyong followed.
    "Ten don't do this. Ten. Ten" he called out as the other ignored. Tae ran to catch up to him.
   "Ten. I know you hear me baby." He grabbed Ten by the arm and yanked him towards his body. Ten stood still and looked down at the ground. Tae squated to get to his level.
   "Are you crying?" Tae didn't actually expect an answer to the question he just pulled the younger close. He looks around to see exactly where they were.
   "I only have a couple of hours before my parents get back. Let me take you somewhere special okay." Ten nodded.

———————————————————————————         The two boys walked for about 5 minutes in silence before making it to the destination.
    "We are going to get killed out here Tae" Ten opposed to the situation.
     "No we aren't my family owns a lake house out here"
    "I've never seen a lake out here."
    " You've never traveled this far into the woods." They walked for a bit more and came upon a beautiful lake with a series of huge houses next to it. They walk down to the water and look out at the sunset. Then Taeyong pushed Ten in; Ten grabbed Tae's arm and they both fell in the water.
     They splashed around and swam for a bit before Taeyong grabbed his guy and pulled in for a kiss.
    "Are you really in love with me?" He asked a breathy mess. Ten nodded then looked him in the eyes.
    "I'm in love with you too." They make out in the water before climbing up on the dock.

    Ten snatched of Tae's wet shirt along with his as Tae laid him down on the cold wood. The kiss passionately as Tae's hand travel down Ten's body and into his pants. They grind on each other letting out small breathy moans. Tae unbuckled his pants and got ready to take them off when a bright light was shined in his face.

    "We found them over here ma'am" A police man said as their search crew gathered around.
   "What-whats going on?" Taeyong asked still in a daze on top of Ten.
   "Get of of me"Ten mumbled. The officers got the two boys blankets as Ten and Tae's moms run up to their sons.
   "We were so worried about you two." Tae's mom stated.
"We are fine" The two guys said in unison.
"What if someone would've taken you and never brought you back." The families went silent as the fathers emerged out of the darkness.

    After finishing the report the police left. The parents of Taeyong and Ten stoo in the grass as the two talked wet and cold on the peer.
     "I guess this is goodbye for now." Tae said grabbing and pulling Ten closed. He refused pulling back at the concern of both fathers watching.
     "I guess so" Ten replies.
    "I love you. Im in love with you" Taeyong confessed.
     "But you need time look Tae I know" Ten snapped
     "Yea I need time..." Ten looked down at his feet.
     " About 5 seconds. 1 2 3" Ten looked back up at Taeyong confused.
     "5" Tae yanked Ten closed to his body and gave him a long passionate kiss no think about who was watching. The two kissed non stop.
     "Be my boyfriend?" Tae sort of asked sort of demanded.

     "Would you like to be my boyfriend?" Ten put a gentle smile on his face staring in Tae's eyes.
    "I would love that" Just as they sealed the deal with one lest kiss.

     "T its time to go" Taeyongs father called out with an anger undertone of voice. The boys walk over hand in hand.
     "Mom, Dad I will like you to meet my new boyfriend Ten Chittaphon Leechaiyapornkul."
Tae re-introduced his guy. Tae's dad scoffed and walked away his mom sweetly followed. Tae waved bye and vanished into the barely lit neighborhood.
