It was August 29th that you and your parents crashed
when that truck hit your side you ended up smashed
Intensive care had seen you through
believing that your time was overduewe went to visit but saw you thrash
and everyone was in a dash
they didnt foresee this reaction
a frenzy, we knew this would happenAs the doctors came running pulling us out of the room
we never thought you'd leave so soon
that dreaded beep was the last thing i heard
when i felt like time had frozen, blurredIf your parents had made it through
They would be devistated without you
you were there in times of trouble
leaving us in a pit of rubblenow i know you had to leave
even though we all do grieve
your memory will live long
you were always very strong
