Yisrael stared down at the woman kneeling in front of him. She was so peculiar.

Her hair stacked into a messy bun showing her sweaty sharp face. She wore a turquoise green top with her sleeves scrunched till her elbows, a waterproof jacket tied to her waist, her cameo pants long and baggy with sturdy brown boots.

He had seen many male humans who act as the river guides because of the treacherous journey in Amazon but this is the first time he met a woman who managed to track this deadly set of course.

It made him feel somewhat uncomfortable.

River stood up. Her whiskey eyes firmly meeting his. There was slit second of fire in them which made his heart beat.

Why is he staring at me so much? Unable to keep his dark gaze, she looked away waiting for him to take them to whatever-the-hell-the-dragon-fire-was.

He tuned behind and headed to the another secret flap at the corner of the tent. River watched the fibrous muscles rolling as he moved.

She gulped as he entered the flap, keeping it open for her to walk through.

Chris nudged her to go ahead and she made a face. Not even once did this bastard thank her for getting them here to safety.

He was too busy wiping the drool dribbling from his mouth as he felt like he couldn't believe that he actually did it.

It was true. But it was through her help that they managed to do so.

When she looked at him, expectantly for a sign or something that said:hey we made it. Thanks you so much River, we couldn't have done without you. And can I tell you something? I want to devour you and worship you.

Instead, Chris was busy observing and talking to the people surrounding him. He almost looked like a child watching his favorite cartoon show.

"Enter fast." His deep grunt echoed from the inside the space that tall man disappeared into.

With feet moving, she enters into what looked like a spacious cave and in middle a huge fire burning. The creepy part was the fire was ignited from a shallow pond of bluey water.

How is that even possible?

Yet her attention was stolen when she saw his face fizzling with the embers of the flames. Her breath stopped.

He looked like a beast.

A very very tall beast. She bet he was standing at a bright height of six feet six.

His eyes were like the night and the white of his eyeball almost disappearing. His face was strong and raised. Trimmed beard lightly coated on his rugged jaw.

He looked like ruined beauty.

His black hair tawny till his shoulders.Golden-kissed skin with muscles sinewing down his naked chest that tapered to delicious looking V.
He wore a similar buckskin pantaloons like the elder, his father and it hugged his strapping calves and thighs.

"Come closer."

River's spine straightening and she walked to the man in measured steps.

"Hand out." Her eyes widened when she saw a sharp tooth like dagger held in his grip.

"Not happening..." Before taking a step back, he grabbed her by her arm, sending a unwanted jolt in her.
