it was the day after mattia had kissed aurora, today was her release day but she had no one to pick her up. her mother had visited her twice the whole time she was at the hospital and she couldn't even come pick her up today. aurora would ask aniyah to pick her up but she was busy with family things, so she asked kairi.

aurora was standing outside of the hospital waiting for kairi's to pick her up, it took about 15 minutes for him to finally get there. "hey kai" she smiled as she got into kairi's car, "hey! how are you" kairi smiled at aurora, "i'm feeling good actually" she smiled as she threw her hospital bag in the back seat, "are you hungry?" he asked her, "no i'm okay" she gave him a small smile, "so are we going to talk about you and ma" aurora stopped him, "no" she sighed and shook her head, "do you have any idea why he did that" kairi asked, "no" aurora shook her head

"he's.. weird" kairi shrugged and started driving, "very" aurora slouched in her seat, "i kinda liked it though" she smiled at kairi, "ew shut up" kairi laughed and playfully pushed aurora

kairi pulled up to aurora's house, they both looked in the direction of aurora's front yard and saw mattia and alejandro arguing, "this can't be good" kairi said and aurora sighed, aurora jumped out of the car, kairi following her. "what the hell are you guys doing here?" she walked up to the two arguing boys, "this bitch kissed you?" alejandro said very angrily, aurora's eyes widened and she blushed, "well- he's not a bitch-" alejandro stopped her from talking, "just be quiet" he rolled his eyes, "don't talk to her like that" mattia said pushing alejandro, "no please no pushing" aurora sighed as she stepped in front of mattia

"you're gonna let him talk to you like that?" mattia said very annoyed, "guys, i'm really tired and i just wanted to come home and sleep, i don't want to deal with this" she sighed and a tear ran from her eye, "i'm sorry aurora" mattia sighed and walked away from the group, "i'm not, i'm really confused" alejandro shrugged and also walked away, aurora started crying and turned around to look at kairi, "this is what i have to deal with now? just because of one stupid project" aurora covered her face with her hands and kairi pulled her into a tight hug

"i'm really sorry aurora, i've gotten into fights with them too and it really does suck, they are big pains in the ass" he rubbed her back as she cried into his chest, "thanks kairi but we better stop hugging just in case alejandro sees!" aurora said sarcastically and pushed kairi away from her, "how about you call aniyah and have her come over and you girls can have one of those girly sleepovers?" kairi shrugged his shoulders trying to make aurora feel better, "i really want to but who knows alejandro probably already told her about the kiss" she laughed sarcastically, "i'll stay with you, you can take a shower and get comfortable while i wait downstairs"

"that would be nice, thank you kai" aurora smiled and the two went inside, kairi sat down on the couch and turned on the tv while aurora went upstairs to take a shower. aurora took off all her clothes and stepped into the shower, she ran her hands through her hair and closed her eyes, it was her first time taking a real shower since she was in the hospital. she played her playlist and just relaxed in the shower, it was about a hour later when she finally finished up

aurora put on nike pro's and a oversized shirt then she went downstairs to see kairi asleep on the couch, she smiled at him and then went into the kitchen, she got water and some chips and went back in the living room, she lifted kairi's legs up and sat down then put his legs back down on top of hers. aurora watched tv and ate her food for a while until kairi woke up, "aurora i'm so sorry you're supposed to be the one napping" kairi sat up and rubbed his eyes, "its okay kairi sitting here is enough rest for me" she smiled at him and he nodded, "how long was i asleep?" he asked, "for a little more than a hour" aurora took a sip from her water bottle, "oh"

kairi sat up and aurora went to the kitchen to get him a water bottle, when she got back to the living room aniyah called her phone.

"aurora what the hell!"

"before you say anything-"

"you know i like him!"

"i didn't plan the kiss aniyah! i don't like him!"

"well he clearly likes you! a depressed little back stabbing bitch"

"now you've gone too far"

"you went to far by kissing my crush aurora!"

"you know what, yeah we kissed and i'll do it again"

"wow you really are a bitch"

aniyah hung up and aurora shook her head, she threw her phone down and ran her hands through her hair, "what did she say?" kairi asked and aurora started crying, he didn't ask again he just hugged her, "call mattia" aurora said in between tears, "okay" kairi nodded and let go of aurora and called mattia

"kairi?"

"aurora wants you"

"what?"

"i'm at aurora's house and she asked me to call you"

"i'll be there in a minute"

"he's on his way" kairi hung up the phone and put it down on the couch, "thank you again for everything kairi" aurora wiped a tear away and looked at kairi, "no problem" he gave her a small smile, "i'm gonna go, if you need anything just call me" he smiled at aurora and stood up, "aw bye kairi" she smiled at him and kairi walked out of her house

aurora started crying, really hard this time. she started thinking about everything that was happening, she just tried killing herself, her and alejandro were fighting again, mattia kissed her, she talked to nicole sanchez, her best friend called her a 'depressed back stabbing bitch' and lastly, her mother was never there for her

aurora had no idea what she was doing inviting mattia over, she didn't know what she wanted from him she just thought she needed him right now

mattia knocked on aurora's door and he seemed nervous, again, "hey mattia" aurora sniffled and stepped to the side to let mattia in, he walked inside and sat down on the couch with his hands in hid lap, "aurora can i tell you a secret" he looked at her with tears in her eyes, "sure" she gave him a small smile, "promise you won't tell anyone" mattia held his pinky up and aurora intertwined her pinky with his, "promise" mattia took a deep breath and looked down at his hands, "i think i'm" he looked back up at her, "gay" aurora's eyes widened and her jaw dropped, "oh?"

"i think i'm in love with kairi" mattia leaned back and sighed, "then why-" mattia interrupted her, "because people can't know, even if it means fighting with my best friend" he shook his head, "why can't you tell alejandro?" aurora put her hand on his shoulder and tried to comfort him, "it would be weird, we've been best friends forever and if i just came out and said i was in love with kairi, it would make things weird, i'm sorry i kissed you" mattia sighed as he finally let all the tears out, aurora gently grabbed his head and pulled him into her chest, "hey, its gonna be okay, you're secret is okay with me" aurora kissed the top of his head
