Chapter 1

STAR GAZING

Toko has been in the office all day, is she alright? Komaru worried about her girlfriend. She quickly climbed the stairs to the second floor of the small home she lived in with Toko Fukawa. Komaru would lightly knock on the door. Toko almost fell back in her chair once a knock echoed. She got up and opened the door. "Y-Yes Komaru?" She asked her girlfriend, stuttering. Komaru quickly questioned Toko "Are you okay?", "Are you hungry?", "Do you want to come out?", "What're you doing?" Toko, not being able to process all the questions at once swiftly shushed her and tried to answer her. "I'm fine, K-Kind of. If you want me to Koko, and I was doing work for the future foudation." Komaru pushed the door open and hugged Toko. "Then come on!" Komaru grasped her hand pulling her down the stairs into the kitchen. "Apples or oranges?" Komaru asked Toko with the fridgedoor opened. Toko was clearly confused but answered with apples. Komaru muttered yes under her breath grabbing an apple out of the fridge. While holding the apple she set down a cutting board, plate and grabbed a knife. She finished cutting the apple setting the slices on the plate. She grabbed peanut butter and left a dab of it on the plate in the middle with apple sliced surrounding it.

She passed the plate to Toko. Toko ate the apples slowly confused, but greatful to Komaru. Once Toko finished Komaru pushed her outside with her. The sun had set already when they went outside. "What a-are you planning Komaru?" Toko, flusted and confused asked Komaru. "Don't worry Toki!" Said Komaru still dragging Toko along. Once they got to the field behind their house Komaru dropped to the ground. "Stargazing!" She turned her head to Toko. "Y-You could've said so! I would've brought us a b-blanket.." She told Komaru. "Koko wait here!" She told Komaru running back inside, She ran back out with a checkered blanket tossing over Komaru. "TOKI!" Komaru giggled getting up and throwing the blanket back to Toko. "H-Hmmph. Should've moved to let me set the blanket down!" Toko growled, Smirked then attacked Komaru again with the blanket. They continued to toss the blanket around until they fell to the ground laughing. They both then got up to allow Toko to lay out the blanket on the grass. They sat down staring at the forest behind the field they sat in. Once they laid down watching the stars. Soon after Komaru fell asleep cuddling close to Toko. Toko got up picking Komaru up and brought her inside laying her down on their bed, covering her up. Toko brought in the blanket and went back to the office. She continued to work as Komaru slept.
