Gelda Pov:

I was in the Throne room when it happened.  I was standing on the left side of the Throne as I hear heard my father King Izraf giving out orders as always.
My job was to stand beside the Throne and do nothing. After hours of listening to my father telling people what to do it was already nighttime. Edinburgh vampires went hunting food in otherwise mean Humans.
My father wanted to Retire to his Chamber as I was making mine to the Garden. "Gelda, I need a hire." My father announced. I was shocked and I didn't know how to respond to it.
"In the nearest future, you will choose a mate to marry and birth a child for Edinburgh as you were born to do." He said as he walked away.

I walked towards the Garden when I arrived the I sensed my cousin Ren. So I was right she wore a black short dress.
"Hello, Princess Gelda. How are you?" Ren asks with a grin as she held a red rose? I presume that she was listing to my conversation with my father.
"I'm fine, and you?" I replied honestly I'm not fine with anything in my life. "I overheard your convenience with our the King. You're seriously not thinking of marrying anyone your father brings you." Ren chuckled. "If Highness wants that then I shall obey him," I told Ren as I turn and walked away. Suddenly Ren grabbed my hand and said: "You know its rude to walk away." I stopped and look at her with no emotion and told her: "You realize it rude to touch someone without there consent." I glared at her. She let go I walked away. When I was out of the Castle I walked away to my favourite part of woods. It has a nearby river and I sat on a tree that I broke last month.
Since last month I have been sinking out of the Castle. Because I would lose it. Hier is a peaceful place that calms me down. I thought about what my father said about a mate an heir a marriage. I don't think I'm ready at all. I never had a mate or love and a baby it too soon for me but no one would care about my opinion they never did. I'm just a pound in my father's eyes to use and know to sell me to stupid man.
Sometimes I think Death is better than being alive as withdraw flames from my hands if anyone knew I could do this I don't know what they do to me. Suddenly, I felt the strongest power level I ever felt in my life I stopped withdrawing fire. I Stood up and started to look around me. I noticed a boy with a red suit. He was short and had spiky black hair and had a make over his left eyebrow, black eyes. He was of the Demon race. Both of us stared in silence until he demanded to know "How are you?" His voice was so cold emotionless at sending shivers down my spine."Gelda" I said as he walked toward me. "Who are you?" He asked again only inches away from my body. My heart started to race as Starting into his black eyes. "I'm princess Gelda from the vampire clan," I told him a smirk appeared on his "And would a vampire Princess be doing in the forest in the middle of the night? I would say hunting but you're miles away from the human villages. So what are you doing here?" He said with a deadly serious tone. "How are you? And why do I have to explain myself?" I replied getting him to chuckle at me. "Okay, I'm Zeldris the third prince of the Demon realm. And know to tell me what are you doing?" Zeldris said. I walked backwards until I felt the tree behind my feet and then I sat down.
Surprisingly, Zeldris sat next to me and my heart started to race higher it wasn't because I was scared that one of the most powerful person sons was sitting next to its because I'm nervous this my first-time sitting next to someone that Isn't part of my family. I have encounter someone that I wasn't supposed to. "I want to relax so I came here," I told him. He wasn't expecting that. "Relax" He muttered under his breath.
"Yes, relax and whats a demon prince doing here?" I asked chuckled at him. "I came here to clean my mind."  He said. "I thought that demons rather kill people." It expediently slipped my mouth. "That's for the weaker and smaller demon," Zeldris said proudly. "What about the shorter demons?" I curiously asked him as I started to giggle. He silently frowned at me. "I never thought that you would be different them the rumours."
I smiled at him. Is it me or I imagined that Zeldris blushed a bit.
"Let me guess you thought that I would be handsome and tall," Zeldris said."yes, you're not tall nor handsome," I told Zeldris he seemed rather disappointed." I'm not handsome" muttered under his breath and he looked away.
I placed my hand on his hair it was so soft. He suddenly looked at me. I lend down until my lips were inches away from his ear and whispered:" You're not handsome but so cute" I pulled away from his ear his face was so red and started to blush too. There was a brief moment of silence stared at each other. "Sorry I didn't mean to but what I said was true you are cute," I said as I smiled at him. Zeldris said, " I'm not as cute as you."
Making me blush real hard but couldn't help but smile. We talked for hours I couldn't help but want to know more about him. It made me happy just to talk to him and for Once I forgot Edinburgh.
