Chapter 1 - CactiVal Wonder

" Okay it's running, Hello everybody! and who is ready for the best rides of there lives, " a black hair boy said into a camera, his blue eyes sparkled showing how excited he was as a huge smile rest on his face. He turns the camera to a group of friends, who were also excited as him, walking closer to the group he point the camera at a dread head, dark skin girl. " Thanks to the richest person I know, " he one arm hugs the girl, " who got us all 2 day passes to the CactiVal Wonder, love you darling, " he kisses the girl on the cheek earning a nice hard punch in return. Rubbing his arm, he wince placing the camera back on the group. 

" Today with me is my closest friends, " points the camera at a tall black; curly hair boy with brown eyes, " Oneil aka my nelly, " the boy rolled his eye than smile  in return probably melting someone heart. The camera than points at a fiery red hair girl, Fair skinned with tiny freckles on her nose, "  this is Sarah aka the red goddess, " she smiles than hug the black hair boy. Moving the camera to the person beside her, a tiny short girl with long black silky hair and big brown eyes, she smile shyly in the camera then wave, " this is our loli, Lyn, " and finally the camera rested back on the dark skin girl with long dreadlocks and hazel brown eyes, " this is Daya aka the hog, " she stick her middle finger while glaring at the boy. " And you guys already know me Mr. Jake so lets go in. " he walks towards the entrance of the amusement park while his friends follow behind towards the ticket both, in which the employee inside - clearly exhausted  gave his best smile.

" How much Tickets, you want sir? " 

" Ha we don't need tickets as we have 2 day passes to this event. " Jake said with a proud smile to the employee who gave a unamused face before placing his hand on the buzzer to call security. Daya quickly jump in front of her friend, trying to keep everything under control.

"Apologies sir for my friend, I'm Daya Hart, there suppose to be 2 day passes for me and my friends under the name Mrs. Hart. " he gave a small sigh then searches through the computer; nodding his head he gave each friend a gold necklace that  had 2  days written on the tag. 

"These are gold passes that will allow you to go on any ride for free as well as enjoy certain food stand however gaming booths such as ring toss and other food stands do not use gold passes so you will have to pay. Understand?" The employee explained to the group who nod in return, he punch a hole in their tags before letting them go pass security. 

Now inside of the park, they all felt like kids again -  jumping with joy and couldn't contain their excitement. It was huge with blinding lights from different rides all round as it lit up the night sky along with stalls and booths with games and different types of food that could be smell in the air from caramel popcorn to conch fritters. Laughter was all around as well as screaming and giggling as tonight was the first day of CactiVal so almost the whole town was there to have fun.

" Okay which ride should we try first? " Jake said towards the group while he places the camera on his neck.

" How about the turbo spinner " Sara offer pointing at a large fast spinning ride not to far from them, It spun the people up and down while moving fast then slow.

" No lets play duck shooter, "  Lyn suggested pointing at the game booth to other side, with a childish smile.

" No offense Lyn, that's for children, I want some thing fast and exciting sooooo turbo spinner for me, " Jake reply getting closer to Sara , who high five him. lyn pouted, folding her arms only to feel a hand rest on her shoulder looking up, It was Oneil who smile sweetly at her causing her cheeks to redden a bit.

" well I want to play duck shooters too, " Oneil said now looking at his other friends , Lynn smile still looking at him while the other two was unamused. Jake rolled his eyes before smirking,

" Don't get excited Daya is our tie breaker, so which one....." Jake look to his left only to see  a empty spot instead. The group look around only to spot her at a food booth ordering mozzarella corndogs. he march up to her; annoyance on his face as he drag the hungry girl back to the group.

" Okay Daya do you want to play the baby game duck shooters or go on the super fun and awesome turbo spinner! " Jake ask putting high emphasis on the turbo spinner part. Daya look between two with her fingers tapping her chin.

" I gah buy your food for the whole day! " Sara shouts raising her hand catching the hungry girls attention. Lyn pouts.

" I'll...I'll buy you food for the whole week!" Lyn shouted

" Duck shooters!" Daya shouted breaking the tie and standing next to the duck shooter gang. Lyn with a wide childish grin grabs their hands and runs towards the duck game.

" Let's go ridding hood, we lost " Jake said now forcing a slump shoulder Sara towards the others. She whined and fake sniffle while Jake continues to pull her towards the booth.

" You guys go on yall ride, meet up by the bumper cars after okay! " Oneil shouts to the other two, who moods quickly lighten as they ran to their ride like children finally getting what they want.

At duck shooters, Lyn stood by the booth looking at its prizes that hang from its sides, there were giant teddy bears; giant pandas and giant seals with miniature versions of it at the bottom. She pointed at the giant panda with wide eyes and a huge smile showing all her braces.

" I want it" she whispers.

" In order to get it, you have to win a score of 250," The man working the booth said, he was chubby with a friendly smile as he point towards his game setup; ducks that was behind water cut outs, each one a different color awarding different points as they would go up and down behind the water. " It will be five dollars to play. " he raised out his hand towards her as she gives him 10 dollars, he went to get change before looking to the side,

" Is your friend playing?"

" What? " Lyn looks to the side of her only to see Daya picking up on the squirt gun while handing over her unfinished corndog to Oneil who in return laughs. She spins the gun in her hands then points it at her friend,

" Let's go loli winner gets the bid panda " Daya smirk at lyn who glares back before picking up the gun and aiming it right back at her accepting her challenge which made her smirk. 'Ring!, Ring!, Ring! The game starts as the ducks started moving up and down behind the water. 'Ping, Ping, was all everyone can hear as the ducks fall down, both girls were highly focused and just like snipers they hit every shot not missing one duck. Ring!, Ring! Like a new activated skill that was unlocked, the ducks began to move faster and side to side. The man smiled thinking they will mess up only for it to replace by confusion as Daya began to hop and  fix her fingers on the gun with a quick breath, 'ping, ping, ping' she began to hit the ducks even quicker than before, feeling intimated a bit from all the pinging Lyn began to lose focus and missed a few shots. 'Ring! ' The game stops along with the ducks and the final score was 310 to 215 

"The winner is the dreadhead" the man said still surprised as he took down the giant panda and handed it to her, she smile while fist pumping the air before grabbing and hugging her giant panda like a kid. Lyn look down with small tears in her eyes she really wanted that panda but she doesn't want her friend to feel bad. "This is for you sweetie, " The booth man said handing her a tiny panda bear. She look at the bear before smiling as a tear falls down her face, she took the panda and wave bye to the man as they started to head towards the bumper cars.

" You guys go ahead, I'm going to put this in the car. " Daya Says stumbling with her panda.

" Let me come with you? could be dangerous alone " Oneil suggest taking the panda from her. Lyn now feeling uncomfortable shakes her head.

" What about me, I don't want to walk by myself? " she says softly with a sad face. He looks at her than smile as he pats her head causing her to blush a bit. 

" Go to the bumper cars it's not to far so you should be safe plus Sara and Jake should be there by now, " Smiling at her again as he waited for her answer, she nods her head and began to walk away while the other two head to the car. Lyn sighed as she continued to walk hugging her teddy bear close, she kept her head down, looking up only to see if she's almost their as she continues to push pass some people on her way.
