05: Coconut Boy

"Okay, first of all, who in the hell let you in? Second of all, no I won't need your help. I'm doing just fine. Shouldn't you be working?" I huffed.

"Woah there tiger!" He says, leaning against the door frame."No need to get all high and mighty there. But guilty as charged."

I roll my eyes.

"Okay Miss.I-actually-need-help-but-no-one-will-help-me-because-I-have-an-attitude! You do you! See ya!" He says, a smile playing on his lips as he turns to strode away.

"Hey now! Jeongguk!"

"Yes?" He turns around.

"I just need a little help," I say. "Nothing I can't handle, but you have nothing better to do," I say, picking at my cuticles lightly.

"Hey now, I have work too. You're the frustrated one here, not me!" He says defensively.

"Yeah, yeah, now help me coconut boy."

"Coconut? Or a bird's nest in a tornado?" He says, raising one of his eyebrows in ,rock question.

"Both."

"Yeah, cause that just makes so much sense."

"Oh shut up would you? And grab me some black hair dye while you're at it."

"Ugh you're so rude," Great. Now he's acting like a conceited 17 year old.

"Talk to your noona with respect."

"Since when were you my noona?" He retorts, opening the cabinet.

"Since now. I can tell your probably younger than me, just by how your acting." His immature retorts were a dead giveaway. I might've been a little hypocritical but my comebacks were far from his childish ones.

"Okay noona. Whatever."

He passes me the black dye, and wipes his hands on his apron and looks at me expectantly.

"What is it now Jeongguk?"

"Uh, wheres the thank you?"

"Uh, huh. Thanks."

"Suit yourself Y/N." He called out as he left.

Just as he walked out, I got started on the very piece of hair that would change my life for better or for worse. Either way, it would be a hell of a ride.

But I was ready.
