Ochako's POV
Why would Deku be like this? I walk faster down the hall to find him. I turn a corner and walk down the stairs. Where is he? I turn another corner and walk faster. "Deku where are you?" I walk faster. Where is he? I bump into a bunch of people but don't even say excuse me. I just didn't care right now. I walk down another flight of stairs and finally see him. "Deku!" He looks behind him and up at me. I run up to him. "What's gotten in to you?"

"I'm sorry Ochako. I was only trying to protect you."

"You don't need to protect me."

"Yeah I know that, but still I was worried for you."

"Deku, I'm a strong woman. You don't even need to worry."

Deku turns to face me. "How can I not worry about the girl I like when she puts her life in danger everyday?"

I didn't know what to say to that. I place a hand on his shoulder. "I'm sorry that I worry you so much."

He grabs my hand from his shoulder and holds it. "You like him, don't you?"

"I already told you, I only like you."

He rolls his eye to my response. "Maybe not now."

I ignore the last thing he says. I didn't feel like arguing with him about this. "Please apologize to him."

"Apologize? Why would I do that?"

"Because you beat him up when he did nothing to you."

"He did nothing? For years he has bullied and tormented me."

"Your a better person than him Deku. Don't let what he has done turn you into a bad guy."

"Why are you on his side?"

"I'm not on his side. Or yours."

He turns his back to me and starts to walk away.

"Where are you going?"

"I'm going to the dorms." I grab his wrist.

"Deku."

"Let go Ochako. Go back to your new boyfriend."

"He isn't my boyfriend! How many times do I have to tell you that I only like you?"

"I saw it."

"Saw what?"

"The way you guys look at each other."

"Your seeing things."

"Am I? Because it looks to me like you guys have gotten really close lately."

"Am I not allowed to be his friend?"

"That's not what I meant."

"Then what did you mean?"

"I'm just saying, you guys seem like you are getting closer to liking each other."

"Are you jealous that we're friends?"

"No."

"Then what is your problem?"

"I- I don't know."

I grab his hand and pull him around to face me. "Deku what's going on with you?"

"I'm scared."

"Scared of what?"

Tears roll down his cheeks. "I'm scared I'm going to lose you."

I place my hand on his face, and wipe his tears away. "You will never lose me Deku."
