  Third persons POV

Three years later.

Exactly after the ups and downs, giving through the lights and dark phases of her study in valley view University Poland. She finally got all the required credits in each year she passed. Three years back, she's been awarded as the most accurate and intellectual student of their set, and also assigned as the president of pediatrics department. She was happy for the great post but never deep, being a bipolar and an introvert does not give her system to embrace the post and award happily.

She doesn't always want to be noticed in her entire living but yet Allah has other plans for her. Her final year is never easy as she thought too. She'll finally accomplish her long time dream of being a pediatrician, albeit she's nervous at the same time because of her final year exams which is never an easy task. And also being the most primitive students and also the president of all the pediatrics ward didn't give the school management and examiners to ever give her a simple questions to answer at the end.

Today is exactly three months after their posting to different places for their community medicine. She was posted in Opole city where she'll look unto how children's live in daily basis and what their day to day life. It was really fruitful and splendid because through the journey, she met a new friend Sarah. And she's also very nice and also doesn't talk much just like her. She's also a Nigerian but is here to Study too. Is very unfortunate how they didn't meet for all this long studying in the same school and even the-same course.

It was Sarah that started approaching laylah and requested if they can be friends to which laylah didn't declined but rather accept her with warm arms. She's alone and lonely without any friends. Is not like she wants many company, but one friend will not hurt will it? Sarah visited her three times to which laylah didn't pay and she's planning to pay her a visit too soon.

She'll be done with pediatrics in exactly three months and she couldn't be happier. She'll finally unleash her father's long time dream. He always want nothing but the best for her and here it is. He also made her promise him whenever she'll choose a career, it'll be A Doctor on Pediatrics. This happens because of some odd reasons that has to do with what happened in the past. Whenever she remembers the memories, she'll cry her eyes out and it ache even more just like the first day. But this is a story for another day.

Talking of Sadiq, their relationship is never too smooth the way it's used to be because she've found him guilty and suspicious couple of more times. She's still not sure of the outcome but will soon be. She have to be very careful towards what her eyes are seeing and on how to mask her emotions. She'll be done with school in three months time so all she need to is exercise patience. What ever it might be as far as she can manage it before she finish her degree. She vow not to give him a single room to find out she's been stalking him for long. For if so happens, then her soul will be dead.

Laylah's POV

After the morning routine of remembering my parents and shedding a gazillion tears, I finally took my warm bath before dressing in black maxi dress with a matching white veil and three inches heel shoes. Taking my phone and purse, I find my way out of the house after I locked the front door. I held a cab to Sarah's place. You might be wondering why I started helding a cab right? Well, I made Sadiq accept my request for going out on my own. I'm no more a stranger or new here am I? I don't think so. I'm here for three years now and I think I can roam about alone. I'm even enrolled in a driving school which I attend on my free times. I'm a scary freak when it comes to driving, but I'm now getting used to it and I can say I'm learning fast.
