Sun was rising, birds were singing beautiful tunes on a monday morning here in Akedin kingdom.
This morning was different, and do you know wh-

"GAH, stupid bird!" Said dark haired boy as he trew his shoe towards one of the branches.
"Can you not?!" He yelled once again.

For some this morning wasn't that beautiful.

"You missed." The boy turned around to face the person who said something very obvious.

"Oh shut up Quince. Like you could hit that bird."

Girl about his age smiled and glanced up to the branch that he missed.

"Pretty sure I can but I'm not gonna trow my shoes at poor birds."

Quince was a bit shorter than Alexander but she was older than him.
The diference didn't matter. The only thing that matters was inside. And on the inside both Alexander and Quince weren't very diferent.
Both stupid.

Now curently in the forest colecting herbs.
The boy was not so happy about them walking around colecting flowers and now he was without one shoe.
Bubblegum pink haired girl on the other hand was dedicated to her task. After all, she was the one that brought her cousin with her.

"Here you go." Said Quince as she handed Alex his shoe. "Thanks."
"No problemo:)"

Quince looked around looking for one last plant. Rare one to be more specific. The duo was pretty deep in the forest and to get that plant they will maybe need to go deeper.
Girl glanced back at her companion to see him already standing.

'If I tell him that we will need to go deeper into the forest he wont do it.' She tought to herself. 'But if I don't tell him, than he will ask where we are going, obviously. So what to do?'

Of course she can go alone but there is some things in the forest worse than reaction of a teen boy.

"I need to find wolfs bane."
Alex looked at Quince and rolled his eyes. "What are you waiting for?"

"We will need to go deeper into the forest dumass. And wolfs bane is literaly CEO of poison and I don't have my gloves."

"Im not going and why would you need a poisonous plant?"

Quince started walking towards a tree that has fallen down. Most probable cause is thunder storm but those are rare in Arkedin.
"To kill you, duh"
She said with obvious sarcasm in her voice. "Its for werewolves."

"Why would you want a werewolf near Honeywood??"

The tree was still wet from the rain so Quince couldn't sit on it. But Quince is Quince so she sat on tree bunk so that her legs are on each side of it.

"It's to get rid of them. They don't like it. It doesn't atract them. Also-"

"I get it. Ok."

Alex interupted her. He didn't want her to talk much. She was already boring with her mouth shut.

"We are going to get it some other time. Lets go home."

Cold glare hit Alex in the face like a brick. First he cut her off and now he wants to go home. What else?

"Ok, but if we are going to need that wolfs bane later than I'm going to rub it in your face."

As the duo was walking towards Honeywood, their home town, sun was getting brighter.
Streaks of warm sunlight were leaking trough the leaves and treetops onto their faces.
Ground was covered in moss and flowers of all kinds.
Bushes full of berries of weird colour.
No one knows if they are poisonous or not. No one wants to eat them to see.
I am sure you too would not want to eat a berry that is vibrant pink colour.

Weird plants aren't the only strange things here in the forest.
Of course there are Bovegars here. Little theifs and scavangers that are all over the place.
There is forest dragons. Forest protectors. In every forest there is at least one if not even more.

In this forest there was one dragon. Deep, deep in the forest. A legend says that the dragon was once a prince who got cursed because the only thing he cared about is himself. He was turned into a dragon, and now he takes care of this forest.

But that is just a legend. Nobody has ever seen him. Nobody alive that is.

The longer Alex and Quince walk, childrens laughter can be heard louder. They were closer to Honeywood.
Quince will have to put colected flowers into bundles and hang them up to dry in her room.
Alex will probably go into the house, he doesn't like to be outside that much.
Of course Quince doesn't need help with colecting herbs but she asks for help from Alex just to get him out of the house.
The more that he is outside the more he is getting used to the wild.
That is good acording to Quince.
She needs someone to help her on a quest after all.

They reached the end of the forest and soon they will get to the place where they came from. Honeywood.
