"keep the change." were jins final words to the cashier before making his way to his and jimins seat.
they were seated close to the window so that the could feel the sun light rays to feel warm on that cold morning.
"what you get?" He asked all bubbly like a child waiting to know what present they got.
"jimin you already know." jin said slightly chuckling as he watched jimin begin to fake pout.
he knew it was all fun and games. i mean why wouldn't he jimin is practically his best friend even with their age difference they still find big similarities amongst each other.
"i know but I wished you got something different for once instead of black coffee." he said the last part like it was a disease.
"maybe one day chim chim ." he said taking a bit of his coffee and noticing how jimins face started to get a bit red.
why you may ask, well that's what jimins boyfriend calls him. they must've been trying to keep it on low but him over heard it.
lets just say he'll never let jimin hear the end of it
"jiiiinnnnn don't call me that you know only tony can say that." he says whining.
"i know, i know im sorry chim chim." He says looking the other direction pretending like he didn't see jimins glare.
"so any who, we have to prepare this presentation that we have tomorrow." he said completely switching attitudes.
"new plans for the company right?"
"right and jungkook should be joining us in a few so he can put in some of his ideas." jimin says typing away on his computer while jin organizes their information.
"oh right the pretty little new guy." jin says trying to remember who exactly they were talking about.
"yea, he's new to the company since he's freshly outta college. I feel as though with such a fresh mind he might be able to come up with some cool ideas."
"damn jimin you really just sat there and called me old." jin said laughing causing jimin to reciprocate.
"you're to beautiful for people to notice jin. asians don't raisin." jimin said winking as jin nodded along taking another long sip of his coffee.
for the next thirty minutes jin and jimin were coming up with ideas on what they should bring forth for their project.
jokes here and there with their coffees almost done.
it wasn't time for them to head to work as that day was a friday and their company opens around twelve p.m.
they finished what they said was their own and waited for jungkook to come with his input.
jungkook was fairly new to the company. fresh outta college.
a young graduate at that but still immature at heart.
sorta.
he had completely forgotten about the meet up with jimin and jin.
he quickly got ready in some professional clothing not wanting to look like a clueless and unprofessional.
throwing on some makeup, adding a few accessories, and his bag he was ready to go.
he managed to get to the local coffee shop hoping the two worked hadn't left.
he stepped out of his car with his laptop and work in his hands.
he made sure he fixed himself together wanting to look classy in front of the two elders since he already is going to embarrass himself by being late.
luckily the two were seated at the far left near the window and he could be been more relieved.
he walked over quickly until the tallest of the two noticed him and gave him a bright smile.
"oh hey, we were just wondering where you were." said jimin as he took his seat next to him.
"yea I'm so sorry about that I had to deal with something personal is that alright?" he lied straight through his teeth.
"its no big deal." jimin said quickly.
"we finished our work so we were just waiting for your ideas. Which I hope you have prepared."
"i do i do." he says and opens his laptop to retrieve this information.
as he did that jin tried to make small talk. which worked since who couldn't resist jin.
"so tell us about yourself jungkook. you seem super shy and if your working with us you have to break out of that habit." he said giving him a sweet smile.
"i do don't i." he said handing some of his work to jimin. " well im not really a shy person. I just have to warm up to you first and after that I'm a pretty chill person."
"that's how i got this short guy to talk." making jimin look up.
"I am not short! my doctor said im average height." causing jin to roll his eyes playfully and jungkook to chuckle a bit.
"I believe you." jin said smiling making jimin feel like total shit for raising his voice at the most soft spoken person ever.
he returned the favor and when back to typing in the rest since he was almost done.
"but anywho, i feel as though you'll come outta your shell very soon. and don't be afraid to be yourself around us." this caused jungkook to feel really happy since he was nervous about peoples perception of him.
he looked like a cocky type and that's not what he wanted people to see him as.
so knowing him and his other co-workers are ready to welcome him in with open arms makes him feel relaxed and ready to get to work without any trouble.
lesson for today kids is don't get cocky or pompous. shit gon go left real quick.
