Bolin spread some cheese over his tortilla chips and sat on the couch. Bolin's mother walked bye.

"Mom I'm watching the thing... With the lady."

"I'm going to work bye Bolin."

"Bye mom" He flipped through the TV and stopped on the yoga channel.

"That's good now keep it right there." The yoga instructor said. As soon as Bolin's mother left Bolin stuck his hand down his sweatpants.

Mako was playing guitar hero when his dad walked bye.

"I'm going to the conference now." He said straightening his tie.

"Did you leave me pizza money?" Mako said, pausing guitar hero.

"Yes I left twenty dollars on the counter." Mako's dad said.

"But what if I want wings?!?" Mako whined.

"You don't need wings." Mako's dad said and walked out of the room.

"BUT DAD THAT'S NOT ENOUGH!!" Mako yelled angrily.

~At Mako's dad and Bolin's moms conference~

"And the cochlear implant is very sufficient and the new version fits easily around the ear which eliminates the need to-" Mako's dad took one look at Bolin's mom who was in the crowd

"Stick your face in between those breasts.." Shocked murmurs were around the crowd.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean that." Mako's dad looked around embarrassed. A few moments later Mako's dad and Bolin's mom were in the hotel room making out.

"My name is Lee, I collect coins, god I love Korean food." Mako's dad, Lee said undressing.

"My name is Kim, I can make tangerine chicken, I love the movies of Rob Ryder, Pilates changed my life." Kim, Bolin's mom said throwing herself and Lee onto the bed. Lee kept talking about himself.

"I own a boat and I want to retire and sail around the world." "oh I love sailing!!" Kim said excitedly.

"And I have a 40 year old son named Mako who still lives with me." Kim retreated.

"What did you say?"

"Oh I knew I shouldn't have told you that.." Kim looked at Lee.

"I have a 39 year old son named Bolin who still lives with me."

About a year later. At Lee and Kim's wedding.

"Attention everyone!" Lee said.

"I'd like to thank everyone for joining us here on this joyous occasion. Me and Mako welcome you into our home with open arms!" Mako threw his napkin down.

"Get a room, dad!" He said and stormed away.

"Umm.. Anyways." Kim started.

"Sadly my youngest son, Tahno, couldn't be here today but happily my other son Bolin is here! And since he was recently fired from his job at pets mart he will be living with us!" Bolin stood up. "I wasn't fired!! I was let go! But you wouldn't know the difference!" He picked up his plate that had salmon on it. "IS THIS SALMON?! I SAID I DIDN'T WAMT SALMON!" He threw it at the table angrily. He got up and walked out the door. "This wedding is horse shit!"

On the drive to Lee and Mako's house.

"Somebody's awfully quiet back there." Kim said looking at Bolin in the back seat. "... I'm not gonna call him dad.." Bolin said not looking at Kim.

"Bolin, you're 39 years old I didn't expect you to call him dad."

"We'll I'm not gonna... EVER. Not even if there's a fire!!" There was an awkward silence.

"Lee better not get in my face.... Cause I'll drop that motherfucker.."

"Hey dad.." Mako said, eating his cereal. "You need to think of options.. I know you're technically married and all but that doesn't necessarily mean they have to live with us.." Lee looked at Mako.

"I think it's time for some change for both of us." Lee went back to his cereal.

"Dad we're men. And that means a few things. We like to shit with the door open. We like to talk about sex. We go on river boat gambling trips. We make our own beef jerky!! And now that's all ruined." He looked down angrily.

"..... We have literally done none of those things." Lee finally said.

Kim finally pulled up to Lee's driveway and stepped out behind the moving van.

"Hey, you!" Lee said walking up to Kim.

"You look so cute in your moving outfit!"

"Oh thank you!" Kim said and hugged Lee.

"How was it?" He said.

"Oh it was easy, the movers did everything!"

"Um where's Bolin?" Lee looked around.

"He's.. He's still on the car.. It was a rough drive for him.."

Mako walked out with a hotdog in his left hand and took a bite.

"Hey Kim, can you make me a grilled cheese sandwich? Mako said happily.

"Umm sure." Kim said raising an eyebrow.

"Don't listen to him he just ate. He's just testing you." Lee said looking at Mako.

"But I'm hungry!" Mako said to Lee.

"Check on your left hand." Lee said and walked inside. Mako looked in his hand and saw the hotdog. Mako looked up and saw Bolin stepping out of the car. Bolin walked up to Mako.

"Hey.." Bolin said to Mako.

"Hey." Mako replied.

"I'm Bolin." Bolin said simply.

"I'm Mako.. But you have to call me dragon." Mako said with a serious face. Bolin paused for a moment.

"You have to call me nighthawk

At dinner that night. Bolin awkwardly picked up his juice and drank it making an annoying slurping sound.

".... Bolin.. Please don't do that." Kim said annoyed. Bolin scoffed and put his drink down. Kim turned to Mako.

"So, Mako. How are things?" Kim asked happily.

"Umm. They're good. I manage a baseball team." Mako said, still eating.

"Little league?" Kim asked.

"... Fantasy league." Mako looked down."

Bolin had been staring at Mako the whole time. Mako looked at him.

"Why don't you take a picture, it'll last longer." Mako said and Bolin turned away.

"Mako, stop being so... Confrontational." Lee said to Mako.

"Hey, I'm not the one staring at me!" Mako said, clearly agitated.

Lee changed the subject.

"So Lee how about you. I heard you used to work at Petsmart." Lee said.

Kim chimed in.

"He's a very talented singer." Bolin looked up.

"I've been known as the songbird of my generation."
