Everyone looked at me with shocked/ scared faces.
"That's the first a girl has been picked." I didnt know what to say to that comment.
"All the competitors stay. Everyine else leave." Dumbledore said and everyone left.
"You need to know the rules." The Professors grabbed a really old book with dust and eww.
"1. When the competition starts, you aren't friends. You're enemies. Any of you working together will be disqualified. You can talk around school but that's it.
2. All magic is legal.
3. When you want out you must put your wand or now hand in the air and shine a red light.
4. If you find the clues, you must not share.
5. Not everything you find will make sense." Dumbledore read out to us.
I looked at all the boys. I didnt want to be against them. They are more experienced and know more then I do.
"When does it start?" Jungkook said cracking his knuckles which scared me.
"Tonight." We all looked at each other again. The boys were smirking bit I was down right scared.
"You will be taking photos and will have an interview. But that wont be till later after the 2nd challenge." Professor Sprout said nodding
"So we can't be friends?" I said kinda sad.
"No, you can. But once you step foot on the challenge field you aren't. Also there will be eyes everywhere so if you share anything, everyone will know." Professor Flitwick said getting off his step stool.
We all left. We were all getting ready for the first challenge. I was scared beyond breath.
"I can sense something is wrong. What's wrong" Yoongi said standing next to me.
" I might bail out. I can't go against you." I said about to put my hand in the air but Yoongi smacked it.
"You will not. That will be worse then going through with it. You bail out everyone will underestimate you and then you become more of a victim. People here don't care who you are. As long as you aren't showing weakness, they respect you." He said looking into my eyes.
"Do what they said. When you get in the field forget we are your friends. Even though the current circumstances make all of us mad. We were chosen so we have a duty to do. That's it. After we are done we can talk for hours with no interruptions. We will make sure of it." Yoongi said smiling to me.
"Guys... The first challenge." The other 6 boys said walking in.
"Met where the sun meets water." I read on the the first clue.
"Good luck.... You will need it." Namjoon said walking out.
Everyone walked out and left our friendship in the room.
'Where the sun meets the water' I thought about where it could be.
Then it came to me.
"The river how we arrive to the castle!" I ran past all the boys knowing exactly where to go.
I arrived at the river to find another clue.
"Where darkness meets light. There will be where the first challenge begans." I thought for a minute then when to the cave that I believed was the right answer.
I could tell the boys were behind me but I didn't stop. I needed to go.
I arrived to the cave and I was right everyone was there. All the competitors from each school.
The headmaster from Hydrin looked at me with a smirk.
"Y/n, are you a competitor?" She said while still smirking
"Yes! And I'm not backing down." I said and she looked at me shocked.
The boys arrived one by one.
"Competitors, your first challenge is with dragons. You need to find your egg. Once you find your egg come back to this place."
We waited for Dumbledore to stop talking. All the head masters from every school put their wands in the air and shot magic up. Telling us to go. I go through my designed area. To see a dragon sleeping.
"I thought they were just kidding." I whispered to my self trying to find my egg. It was behind the dragon.
I stepped on a stick which woke the dragon. He tried to fling me but since I don't use a wand u have to use my powers to stop him.
"I'm sorry pretty." I made him freeze.
I took the egg and ran.
I seen Hobi running to be the first one. So I made it to where he slipped on ice.
I made it back to the headmaster's first.
The 7 boys I was familiar with looked at me with only one thought in mind.
"The winner of challenge one is Y/n! Dumbledore made everyone stop and come back. Some of them where already here because the couldnt fight the dragon.

We all seem the look the boys gave y/n.
"Do you think they will hurt her?" Professor Sprout said watching.
"No, but I can see them hurting everyone else so that it's her against them. Which might not end well." Professor Snape said looking at his niece.
"We cant do anything because all magic is legal." Dumbledore said shrugging his shoulders.
