Hello all! Before you start reading, I just wanted to say a few things.
First of all, yes I know I have a *tendency* to start new books and then become slow at updating them, or just pushing them to the back of my mind (you should see how many story drafts I have!) or never updating them again! Well, this story is going to be different. I truly plan to stick with this story till the end. I cannot guarantee when the story will be updated, but I assure you, it will.
That being said, this is officially the first story I will be taking seriously! I've actually got a plot somewhat written out that I will follow, and I will be on top of grammar and spelling issues!
Doing something like this will take me some getting used to, as most of my original followers know how bad I am with updating stories or creating new ones simply because I have an idea that sounds good or I just simply get tired of writing a current story. Because of this, I have decided that It would be best for me to focus more on this story, and less on the others. After all, I want this to seem like a professional book you'd go buy at Barnes And Noble! Now that doesn't mean that the other stories won't get updates, because I assure you, they will! They'll just be a side project, and less on my mind!
I am also going to try to avoid excessive detailing, but also avoid rushing things along. I will try to keep this story at a steady pace as to not bore you people! I am also trying to make this story relatable, so there will not be a Her Life instance where bad event after bad event happens to the point that 70 things happen in one chapter! (I admit, I started Her Life in middle school, and it was my first story on Wattpad... So I kinda understand... It's cringe I know. I'm still editing those chapters to make it a tiny bit better... But there's only so much I can do.)

Below is a list and description of the characters you will meet in the book, as I am really bad with describing people and whatnot xD
Christa- Luke's mother, extremely overprotective, which Luke describes as her just not caring about him.
Blue eyes, Medium Brown hair, slim body shape, 37 years old, Divorced, still receives money from ex-husband to help take care of Luke.
Her greatest fear is losing her son.
Daniel- Luke's father, laidback, Luke loves him more than his mother, and wished he could live with him.
Brown eyes, short Brown hair, 39 years old, very muscular, Divorced, Multimillionaire, gives money to his ex-wife to help take care of Luke.
His greatest fear is losing the custody battle over his son.
Lucas- The main character. Also known as Luke, Laidback, pretends he's a badass, prefers his father over his mother.
Brown eyes, short Brown hair, 17 years old, Single, Skinny but strong, lives with his mother, likes to wear mostly black, listens to emo music, lives videogames, gets a weekly allowance from his father.
His greatest fear is that he'll never get to see his father again.
Xavier- Luke's friend, very chill, tries to act cool for Luke's sake, but is overall just a gaming nerd.
Green eyes, short Brown hair, 16 years old, Dating a girl named Zoe who lives several states away, Skinny and weak, lives with his older sister, loves playing videogames, wishes he was in the same grade as Luke.
His greatest fear is losing the rest of his family.
Anthony - New kid at school, POV switches between him and Luke, he's very shy and timid.
Blue eyes, short blonde hair, 17 years old, a bit muscular, bullied a lot, Single, lives with his dad, wants to make friends, Unknown health issues.
His greatest fear is that he'll never get a break from the bullying.
