It was painful. All the burning. It hurt like hell. But wasn't he living in hell?

Everyday without her was his own living hell. James bowed his head as the pain and fire rolled down his cheeks. He wanted it to stop. All the hurting. All the pain. All the burning.

Fucking hell.

James blamed himself. He blamed himself for the pain that she felt.

But it wasn't his fault. It was the other man. The man who tried to rape her. The man who forced himself on top of her and asked if she was a virgin.

That man trapped her in the room. That man caused her the pain. James had stabbed him in the neck, causing him to bleed out all over Alyssa.

God. She was really gone. Alyssa was gone. She wasn't here with him. She did the same thing that his mother did. If only he had known their pain. He could have helped. But they were gone.

He screamed till his lungs burned like his face.

He held it in for a second though. He looked out at what looked like endless sky. Till he tilted his head a bit and saw the water.

His final resting place.

His legs shook. Tears filled his eyes again. That pain was back again with a vengeance.

But it would soon be gone.

"I'll see you soon Alyssa, my love."

He walked towards the edge.

Then the walked turned into a run.

Then the run turned into a sprint.

Then that sprint turned into a jump.

The air felt light. It held him. For a second. Then it dropped him. It dropped him to the rocks below.

He smiled as his body crashed into the rocks. His spine broke. The rocks pierced his stomach. Going through the organ. Blood spilled from his mouth.

That rock was dripped with blood.

The waves crashed into the boy's lifeless body.

Causing his hair to get salty and messier.

But now he was better. He was with Alyssa.

She was free from the house.

He was with her.

Finally.

The burning stopped.
