i ran down the beach trying to catch up with my dad he was gonna teach me how to surf i finally caught up with him
dad:finally you made it
kayla:yeah haha finally
dad:ok so we're gonna swim out ok and wait for a wave
i nodded and we got on the boards and swam out as i was waiting i was scanning the beach and my eyes came across this boy he was with some friends and super hot
dad:ok kayla see that wave
i nodded
dad:ok first you gonna get like this
i followed what he did as the wave came
dad:now stand
i stood and rode the wave next to my dad
dad:now follow what i do so you don't fall when we get to the shore
i followed what he did and surprisingly didn't fall
dad:good job he pulled me into a hug now wanna try by yourself
i nodded i noticed the boy i saw earlier was looking at me i ran back into the water and swam out and waited for a wave the boy was still looking i got a wave and rode it when i was going back to shore the boy was there i couldn't move and i didn't wanna fall
kayla:hey watch ou...
i fell ontop of him
kayla:oh my god i'm so so sorry
josh:no problem i should've been paying attention
i got up and helped him up
josh:josh richards
he put his hand out
kayla:kayla marie
josh:you surf huh
kayla:learning
josh:there's no way your just learning your awesome
then my dad came over
dad:kayla i gotta call at work you know where the keys are right
i nodded and he left
josh:that your dad
kayla:yeah he's the surfer in the family
i chuckled
josh:hey um i was about to go and get some ice cream you wanna come with
kayla:sure could i go to my house and change first tho
josh:of course um let me see your phone
i handed him my phone and he put his number in
josh:just text me when your done and i'll come get you
i nodded and walked off to the beach house my dad owned and changed i then texted josh
kayla:hey i'm ready what ice cream place?
josh:*random ice cream place*
kayla:ok omw
i walked out the house and walked to the ice cream shop i saw josh outside
kayla:hey
josh:oh hey you ready
kayla:yep
we walked in the ice cream shop and ordered

it was now around 9 pm me and josh spent the day together talking and getting to know each other i walked in my house after saying bye to josh and quickly fell asleep
