so, before we get into this book, i would just like to say that there will be nothing sexual, minus the crude jokes that richie will say. depending on what's going on in the chapter, i will be putting trigger warnings tthe beginning and right before the trigger starts happening (if that makes any sense at all).

i thought of the main idea of this book about a month ago, and i've been kind of building on it since then. recently, i've been wanting to try my hand at more darker things than what i'm used to, and to show that what my main character is about to go through is not an easy situation to get out of. the urge to attempt to commit suicide will not simply go away immediately for a simple "omg i love you *name*, please don't do this, baby" kind of thing, and i could not stress that enough.

now, there may be some things that i get wrong about bipolar depression, despite having it myself. (typical 14-year-old attention seeking girl, i know.) i've been medicated for it for a few years now, but i know there is a LOT more to it than what i know, but i feel like i know enough to actually start writing about it.

one final thing before you dive into this book, i really want to urge to you that if you or someone you know is hurting themselves in such ways, please, please, PLEASE encourage them to call a suicide hotline and get some help. i promise you that once you get help, you'll feel so much better, trust me.

just a reminder, this book WILL contain strong themes, such as suicide, (bipolar) depression, overdosing, cutting, blood, potential violence, potential heavy arguments, and underage smoking/drinking.
