After a long day of house hunting, Kate and I were tired. We haven't found our house yet and my lease still has a month, we aren't too stressed.

I unlocked the front door and we both slumped down on the couch. Almost instantaneously she was already snoring and I chuckled at her. I grabbed the throw blanket and put it over her body.

My phone buzzed in my hand and before I even finished reading the text, a car horn sounded from outside of my building. I raced out and saw Ondreaz waiting in his car. I walked over to his side and he rolled down the window.
"Jump in." He smiled at me and I scrunched my nose at him.
"I'm tired." I whined, ready to walk back inside.
"I don't care, you always have energy for spontaneous adventures." He was ushering me to get in the car and I shook my head.
"Take Tony."
"No, get in."
"Ugh fine!"

I did give up and hopped into the passenger seat. He smiled over at him and I gave him a fake frown. He chose to ignore it and turned the radio on. Personally I prefer to listen to radio music in the car, it makes car trips more fun. Sometimes they play throwbacks and it's the best.

I sung lowly to the music as Ondreaz drove. I didn't even know where we were going.
"So many girls in here where do I begin?! I see this one I'm bout' to go in!" Ondreaz sand loudly. "Then she says, 'I'm here with my friends', she got me thinking and that's when I said. 'Where them girls at? girls at.' Ohhhh.!"

He was screaming the lyrics in the car and I couldn't help but sing along. I was laughing while I attempted to sing along really. His voice would crack when he sung to loud and by the end his voice was raspy from screaming it. I was still laughing my head off and I hadn't even realised where we were. We were at the beach. My favourite gelato standing is here, in the beach markets. No way, did he remember?

"I'm a good singer hey?" He asked jokingly and I gave him wide eyes.
"Right~" I drawled with a grimace and he poked his tongue at me before he jumped out of the car.
"Come on liar!" He called, waving me to follow him and locking the car when I closed my door.

I ran over to him, seeing as he walked off ahead and he grabbed my hand. I looked down at our hands for a moment and then back at him. He was looking at me with questioning eyes as if to ask me if it was a problem and I shrugged. We continued to walk hand in hand down the beach. There was a picnic table next to the beach markets and he got me to sit there.
"Wait here, I'll run and get us the gelato." He told me, releasing my hand when I sat down. I nodded and he ran off.

It felt weird to hold his hand, but it was nice. When he let go I just wanted him to grab it again. I couldn't figure out what it was that I was feeling. I always wanted to hang out with him, tell him about my day, have spontaneous ice cream/gelato trips and touch him. Not sexually, I just like the feeling I get from his skin. It's sparky and makes my belly fill with butterflies.

"Oh? Teal?" I voice pulled me from my daze and I looked up to see Daisy Keech. We were close friends until she left the hype house and we just drifted.
"Oh my- Hello!" I stood up from my seat and pulled her into a hug. "No freaking way, it's been to long."
"I know, I'm so glad to see you again." Her smile was wide and genuine when we pulled apart. We were genuinely really good friends, Daisy was real to me.
"I missed you, I'm sad that we drifted." I frowned at her, holding onto her small hands.
"I missed you too. You'll be glad to here that Thomas and I are friends again and I'll probably be hanging out more." She assured me but I grimaced at the sound of Thomas' name.
"That's good to here, I don't think Thomas and I are really good friends though." His name tastes sour in my mouth.
"Oh. That's a shame." She frowned but pushed it off anyway.
"Hey Daisy!" Ondreaz called when he arrived. He handed me the mango gelato and I grinned at him.
"Thank you." I whispered, digging into my gelato.
"Ondreaz, it's been so long!" She greeted hugging him. I was sitting now and Ondreaz say after their hug.
"I've missed you at the house." He told her honestly and she giggled.
"I bet you's have. Anyways, I see you both are busy. I better get going and let you love birds be." She giggled with a smirk, waving us a cheeky goodbye.
"Wait we need a photo!" I grabbed her before she ran off and gave Ondreaz my phone.
"Bye my love!" I called after we took the photo and she retreated.
"I'll message you!" She called back and blow me a kiss.

I sat down with Ondreaz and finished my gelato.
"I really did miss her." I told him and he nodded, a mouth full of gelato. "We should invite her to the next party."
"I don't know if she'll wanna be there with Thomas." Ondreaz said unsure and I tilted my head.
"She said that they are friends again." He looked surprised, "What even happened?"
"The same thing that happened to you." He mumbled, looking down.
"He's toxic." I told Ondreaz with wide eyes.
"Aren't you meant to be saying that about your ex?" He asked with cheek in his eyes. I knew he was only meant to be playful, so I took a spoonful of my sweet gelato and flicked it at him. It hit him square on the forehead and he looked at me shocked.
"You're dead." He laughed, wiping it off and getting out of his chair.

I watched him go for a handful of his gelato and I jumped out of my chair. I zoomed off down the beach, he didn't even have time to grab any as he chased after me. It's hard to run on sand in thongs, he had no shoes and had the advantage. I tried to loose the shoes but I tripped up and he grabbed me by the waist. I cried out and he carried me down to the water.
"No! Please!" I cried while I was laughing. He was going to threaten to put me in the water. He turned me around and monkey gripped my arms. We were shin deep and I wrapped my legs around him as he lowered me down to the water. He looked down at my legs and gasped.
"That's cheating." He scolded and in attempt to pry my legs off, he dropped my arms. I thought I would fall but I used all my strength to pull myself as he dropped me and wrapped my arms around his neck. Due to his leaning posture and focus on my legs, my added unbalanced weight caused him to fall forward. He landed on top of me and I screamed as the cold water hit my skin.

"Well that backfired." He chuckled and gave him a blank look.
"You think?" I couldn't help but laugh when I saw the position we were in.
"I love when you're wet and wrapped around me."
"and I love when you're on top of me."
