Amy
The next day I met the new neighbours they were two children, a girl four years younger than me and a boy my age. He likes to fish like any basic male so he became friends with my brother probably that same day.
They were joined at the hip. Fishing every day or chasing rabbits. They both kind of scared me, giving me the vibe of a psychopath. They threw the rabbits with rocks to catch them, I set most of them free after showing all of us.
I still remember one time they killed the rabbit and wanted to barbecue it. They filled the whole house with smoke and burnt the rabbit but they had to eat it. As children we grew up with the rule that if you kill something unnecessarily you have to eat it, because if you take an animals life it has to be to keep another alive.
Time passed rather quickly. My birthday rolled around and I decided to have a party. I didn't really enjoy having parties because I always got very excited and therefore I was always left disappointed. This year was no different. I had a schedule but every year people just do what they want to anyway. I don't blame them I am glad they were able to have fun. This year however I decided was going to be my last party. Next time was going to be when I turned eighteen and I would just go out to a bar with my friends.
Soon it was Easter. My family came to visit even though they live a seven hours drive away, but knowing my aunt it only took them about five. I was very happy to see my cousins Charlize, Jay, and Connor, I had seen them Christmas and it felt like forever ago. Charlize is one year younger than me, Jay is three years younger and Connor is seven years younger the same age as my younger brother, John.
Me and Tatiana the next door neighbour became good friends during these four months. I must admit at the beginning I became her friend to get to know her brother, such a middle school move, but turns out she is a really fun person to be around. I have never really cared much about age gaps between friends, I guess it has to do with the fact that all my parents' friends' kids are younger and I basically grew up with only younger children aside from my brother, William.
Me and Charlize were busy having a competition of who can design the best clothes.
Charlize:
Hey why don't we go hang out with William and Divan?Me:
Cause, Charlize, Divan is friends with William aka my brother and I don't want to be friends with his friends.Charlize:
But it could be fun and I don't have a problem with being friends with his. I know you are my cousin and I last saw you Christmas but so is William.Me:
I thought you wanted to spend time with me, but if you want to spend time with William go ahead I cant stop you. He is your cousin too.Charlize:
Want to come with me?Me:
Yeah... no thanks I see my brother enough as is.Charlize;
Okay, where will they be?Me:
Probably at the dam catching fish. And so she left of to catch fish but looking back at it, it was so obvious she only had one fish she wanted to catch.
I went over to Tatiana and we made some weird peanut butter, coconut dessert then we watched tv and catched up on all our shows. Charlize came back about an hour later and watched some tv with us.
That afternoon all five of us, the girls and the guys, were walking around and going into abandoned houses and houses still being built. We joked and laughed and I had fun.
At night as I was lying in my bed with Charlize she told me she has a crush on Divan. There, right there, my heart felt like it was being squeezed and I knew she wasn't the only one. I tried to convince her and maybe myself that it was a bad idea especially since she was only here for Easter vacation then she was going back home. She was still very unconvinced.
Me:
Every crush isn't supposed to be an epic romance, some are just that, a crush, and you enjoy being around that person but you eventually get over it or you crash and burn. It is just a flat tire on the road to true love and happiness.
She only huffed and turned her back to me. But even if she didn't take this advice to heart I would need to. For if I just one of his many fangirls clearly it would lead to heartache and pain, and not for him. It couldn't be real is so many other girls also like him. Right? Yeah, no it was just a silly crush that I would get over. And so I willed myself to sleep believing I could just move on, I mean come on how hard could it be?
But to be fair at this time I didn't know that tomorrow was going to test all the rules I had just mentally given myself namely:
1. Stay away from Divan
2. Let him be happy with someone else
3. No getting jealous
4. Move onIf I thought today was awfully suckish tomorrow was going to give a whole new definition and I may stoop lower than I ever have before, and I am talking below rock bottom. Tomorrow was going to test everything I had in me and I might even lose all my dignity. Because I might learn that I am willing to do nearly anything but talking about my feelings was most definitely not on that list.

What do you think is going to happen?
What will drive Amy to possibly lose everything including her dignity?Q: Would you like me to publish as soon as a chapter is done or would you prefer I stick to a schedule?
