" Mom, I going to be fine" as I was trying to free myself out of my mom's tight hug. " I can't see you till God knows when just accept it. Jasmine and Reynald, come here and hug your sister" my mom said. After all the goodbyes, tears, hugs, I'm finally off to chase my dream. Oh wait, I haven't told you how this all started. Sorry silly me 😊. So, a few months back, I went to attend an audition for one of the biggest entertainment agency in South Korea. After a whole day of singing and dancing, I was the only one picked out of around thousands of other girls and boys to train in South Korea. So, back to the present. I'm excited and scared at the same time. After a 9 hour flight, I finally arrived at Incheon. After retrieving my luggage, I went outside trying to find someone to pick up. I finally spotted a guy holding up a paper sign with my name on it. " Hi, hello. I'm Yoo Chun Choi. You Princess" he said while shaking my hand. I nod my head nervously. " Okay, you come to follow me" while taking my suitcase.The ride to the entertainment was quite long, throughout the ride he kept talking to me about the beautiful scenery in soul and how he has been driving for the longest time now. After almost 2 hours, we arrived at the YG Entertainment training center. As soon as I arrive in the lobby, I was asked to go upstairs to meet the CEO. It's an 8 story building, but the elevator way up felt like an eternity. I was tapping my hands and I felt my hands shaking. After I arrive, I was greeted by a big black door and a gold door. I think it took me a whole 5 minute, to collect the courage to knock at the door. " Come in ! " shouted someone from the inside. I finally went in, " Oh you must be Princess, I'm Yang Hyun Suk, CEO of YG Entertainment. So how was the flight? It's tiring isn't it ?" he asked while tidying up the documents on the desk. I nodded my head slowly. " Don't be shy, we're going to be seeing each other a lot now, so I hope we can get close to each other. Okay, since I think you will be very tired, let me get straight to the point. So this is your contract. I believed you have signed this when you first got the news. This is your schedule, and now this is the apartment number and the key to your room and apartment. Now the rules you will be explained slowly as you train here but I will explain to you about the system here. So we divide trainees here by gender. After that, you will be divided by your skills. There is basic, intermediate, high, upper high, elite, and pre-debut. Only members on the pre-debut team can debut. Even though you just enter the agency, that doesn't mean you will be put on the basic level. You will be reviewed based on your singing and dancing. Oh, another thing, I have asked all the staff and trainers to only speak Korean to you. I'm not doing this because I have personal feelings against you, but I need you to adapt quickly okay. I have heard good things about you, and I'm hoping you can be the last piece to the puzzle." he explained. " Okay, now off you go and I will see you soon." he opened the door for me and I went down back to the lobby.Yoo Chun was there waiting for me, he asked me to hop in and drove me to the dorm. I was excited to see the dorm and meet new people. Suddenly a thought crossed my mind, " what if the can't speak English ?". I became so anxious after that thought and then I start to picture myself being a super loner and making my self a fool. After being buried in my train of scenarios, I finally arrived at the apartment. I ride the elevator, and I finally arrived in front of the door. After knocking at the door a couple of times, the door was opened by a really pretty girl. She is tall and petite. She also has really pretty eyes. " Omg, you must be the new trainee. Come in, come in. You must be tired." as she pushed the door open. I dragged my suitcase in. I followed her through a small hallway and we arrived in the living room. There were a couple of sofas and a tv. There were 3 other girls there. " Girls, we have a new roommate. She is-, wait what is your name?" she said while staring at me. "I- um, my name is Putri. I'm from Indonesia. I'm 13 years old. Nice to meet you ."I said my while my waving my hand a little. " Hi, my name is Lisa. I'm from Thailand," she said while offering her hand to me. " My name is Jennie and I'm from the states," said the girls with brown hair and cute face. " I'm Rose and I'm from New Zealand. She is Ji Soo, she's from Korea," said Rose with a smile on her face. Ji Soo waved her hands to me with a big smile. Lisa then took my hand and asked me to sit in the middle of them." So, what is your level? Have you met your trainer yet? What position did you get in for? And-" Lisa asked me. She was suddenly cut by Jennie " Lisa stop. Calm down, she needs to settle in first. I'm sorry she is a little bit too excited." I nodded my head with a small smile. " Come here let me show you our room, " Rose said. I stood up and followed her to a room at the end of the apartment. Lisa also stood up, helping me with my language. At the end of the hallway, there was a white door. Rose opened the door, revealing the room. Inside the room, there were two bunk beds and an extra bed between the beds. " So this is our room, you can pick the bed," Lisa said. " Oh and about your luggage, since the room is so small, I think it will be a better idea to put it in the next room. It's fine right ?" rose asked. I just nodded my head again. " Okay, now go shower and settle down. You haven't eaten, right? If you're ready, come out. Ji Soo is cooking kimchi stew. It's really good." she explained. " Okay," I said while looking at the room.Then Lisa and rose left the room, " Well that wasn't too bad, they seem very nice and warm" I thought. I then brought my suitcase to the room beside the bedroom and opened my suitcase. I then showered changed my clothes and went back to the living room. By then it was time to eat dinner. Dinner was nice, I get to know more about the girls and the company. Turns out, me and Lisa are the only foreigners in the whole agency. Even though rose and Jennie are both not from South Korea, but they both have Korean blood. After dinner, I choose to sleep at the extra bed in the middle of the bunkbeds. After I laid myself on the bed, I directly went to sleep. I need to rest well today so that tomorrow I can go to training.
