"I'm so over him. Look at him, he's so basic. Ew" I rambled on about my ex to my best friend since forever, Alex.
"Yea. I agree. Totally." He quickly agreed with me.
Lesson number one: When I'm upset, just agree. Because if you don't, I'll probably bite your head off.
"I mean. Who is on the football team these days. It's so typical for boys to obsess over football in high school." I threw my hands up.
"Yea- what? Uh Taylor...I'm on the football team..." He paused and looked at me. I glared at him for a second and took another handful of popcorn.
We were currently sitting on my bed. His laptop in between us, playing a movie we weren't paying attention to.
I sighed and looked at Alex. He had always been there for me. We had other friends but he always understood me and listened to me. We have been best friends since elementary when he ate the crayon I was using to color. I beat him up and then our parents became friends.
"What." He said looking at me.
"Nothing. This is all such a mess. I was so stupid to date the school jock." I sighed again and threw my self back on the bed.
"It's ok. We all make mistakes. Even though this one was pretty bad. Not that bad but you were pretty stupid to trust Jor-Hey!" I threw a pillow at his face to shut him up.
"Shut up!" I yelled at him. He was laughing and pelting me with my pillows. "agh!! Stop!"
"Hahah" He laughed and jumped down onto my bed again. "Don't throw a pillow at me and expect me not to react Rainer."
"Don't call me by my last name Wilson. And its instinct to hurt you, your like my punching bag that comes with a mouth and a tiny brain." I poked his shoulder. He raised am eyebrow at me and snorted. "Pig."
"HA." He laughed. "And I make you happy even when you thought you would stay depressed forever."
"Ugh you reminded me. What about school tomorrow." I threw myself back on my bed again.
"I have so many classes with him." I screamed into a pillow.
"Four out of ten classes is not that many. Draa-matic." He stretched out the word, he was trying to yank the pillow from out of my iron grip. He sighed.
"You'll get over it. Soon you will have another crush and be blabbing about him to me 24/7." He smiled. "and once your happy maybe you can help me get this girl, shes so cute and damn-"
"Shut the hell up Alex I'm not helping you get laid geez." I closed my eyes.
That was how I reacted when my superstar-in school boyfriend, Jordan, broke it off with me. He was my first real love and I couldn't get over him. I was completely lying to myself snd to Alex, I was crazy for Jordan. I guess it was because of his charm and how all the girls wanted him, and how he was always so confident.
"Taylor. Taylor? This is the third time!" Alex dropped his head on the table.
"I'm talking to a wall here." He mumbled into the table. I snapped back into reality, or my first period science class...whatever.
"Ew don't put your lips on the table." I pulled his head up from the table and looked ahead. Of course, as if the teachers have a past and future mind reader, they assigned my table behind Jordan's.
"Ha. My lips are cold now." Alex said, he wiped his face with the sleeve of his sweater.
"Your so gross." I sighed. I glanced at the clock and my focus reappeared because the class was over.
"See you in third Tay." Alex said and walked away. I watched him as he started walking with a girl and cracking jokes. I shook my head, such a flirt.
I slung my bag on my shoulder and walked into the crowded hallway. Next up in the boring cycle: English.
"Good morning Miss Rainer please take a seat." The teacher gestured to the only open seat. Oh lucky me, it was next to the all star Jordan. I was screaming internally as I slumped into my seat and dropped my head in my hands.
"I'll be passing back your past test. Answer the question on the board in a paragraph while I do so." The teacher pushed back his chair and began passing out the papers.
How did the high school experience change your personality, style, and mindset? I opened to a clear page and took out a blue ink pen.
"Taylor." The teacher dropped my test on my notebook. I flipped it over to see my 97 A+ grade.
"And Jordan. Please come see my after school to discuss this." The teacher whispered the last part.
The high school experience really changed me. Everyone around me was changing so I was forced to change also. High school always seemed like the long hallway before you reached the door to freedom: college. But it wasn't what I expected. Instead of new friendship and freedoms. I got a slap in the face. All the girls became sluts and whores. While the boys became players that only want one thing. Why couldn't it be like in the movies? First romances, all sweet and innocent. Instead the boy wins your heart and makes you fall in love, only to rip your heart from your body. Well I know how to break people too. And next time I'll be prepared, mess with me again I'll rip the most important part of him off, his d-
"Taylor." Jordan looked at me. I loosened my grip on my pen, my handwriting was darker at the end when I became angrier.
"What?" I snapped.
"Well, you look nice today." He looked into my eyes with his pure green ones.
"Seriously?" I glared at him.
"What I can't tell the person I once loved that they look nice?" He asked innocently.
"No you can't compliment someone you never loved in the first place. What do you want," I said bluntly.
"Well you know I'm on the football team. And you know that you need good grades to stay on the team. I'm no genius." He started. I chuckled sarcastically at his last comment.
"But see you are. You ace every test, quiz and project thrown your way. So I wanted to see if you could help me get my grades up." He asked.
"How" I crossed my arms. "How would you want me to help?"
"Uh...You could just let me copy you homework and stuff. I mastered the cheating skill so we would never get caught."
"Thats not something to be proud of." I sighed.
"Will you help me? Will you help the boy you once loved?" He asked desperately.
"Love is a strong word." I narrowed my eyes at him.
"Whatever. Will you help me or not?"

Finally, the first chapter. I'm actually really happy at how this turned out I tried my best. It was delayed a bit because wattpad force quit and deleted the end so I had to rewrite it. And you guessed it, the person I chose to represent Taylor was Andrea Russet.
