Hitoshi Shinsou stared at his ceiling, his family long gone. He turned over an reached for his phone to check the time. 12:30. He needed to get to class soon. With a sigh the purple haired boy ran a hand through his hair, it was greasy. "Beanie is a necessity, got it," the boy muttered to himself as he got dressed in the usual, black hoodie, a pair of jeans, purple beanie, and barely holding it together black converse (Much like his sanity). He played with his lip ring as he made his way to the bathroom to brush his teeth.

He avoided looking in the mirror at all costs and quickly left the room, dragging his feet behind him. He checked his watch and sighed out a quick, 'shit' before slinging his book bag over his shoulder and rushing out his bed room. After he made it to the bottom of the stairs safely he began to run towards the front door, he needed enough time to get coffee before class. "Son of a bitch!" He fell face first and his jaw collided harshly with the hardwood floor. At his feet was a brown haired barbie and he glared at it before getting back up and leaving the front door.

Finally he arrived at the Mighty Cafe and the familiar jingle above his head cheered him up slightly. "You look like shit eye bags. Did you get any sleep last night?"

Hitoshi scoffed at the ash blonde boy in front of him as he handed over the correct amount. "Thanks for pointing that out Katsuki and no, I haven't slept."

"How many days?" Now, they weren't necessarily friends but Katsuki was like a mom at least that what Denki said.

"A few." In reality he hadn't slept since Saturday, it was Wednesday. The blonde hummed and handed the purple haired boy his coffee. "See you next time asshole!"

"See ya eye bags!" Shinsou hurried into his car and took off down the street and he felt so tired. Was letting him drive even safe at this point?

As he approached the large white school building he was immediately met with his yellow haired friend who was beaming up at him. The purple haired boy waved in response and sipped quietly on his black coffee his friend went on about his morning. "Something bad happened last night."

Hitoshi perked up at this and took his coffee away from his lips. "What happened?"

"Shoto came home crying." Hitoshi adjusted his book bag before glancing at his friend out the corner of his eyes. The blonde was biting his lip, his eyebrows were furrowed, and he just looked crest fallen.

Hitoshi took a sip of coffee before responding. "Do you know why he was crying?"

"No. That's what pisses me off, he won't tell me. Like I get it, people don't want to talk about their emotions and shit sometimes but this has happened like three nights in a row." Denki waved his hands in the air wildly and Hitoshi had to move his coffee away from his friend.

When the blonde settled Hitoshi sighed, he hasn't gotten enough sleep for this. "Why don't you just leave it for right now? He clearly doesn't want to talk about it."

Denki nodded in an irate way but the purple haired boy could tell that he would actually take his advice. "Have you been sleeping, you look pale."

Hitoshi shook his head no before pushing open the door to their lecture hall, his coffee was getting cold so he chugged the rest before tossing it in the trash. "Nah, Haven't been able to for a few days."

"How many is a few?"

"Five."

"Jesus fuck! Is the melatonin not working?" The purple haired boy shook his head dully. "Do you want me to come over at night and try to help?" The boy shook his head again. He appreciated Denki's company, he really did but Eri would never go to sleep if the blonde was there. "I'm free anytime." Denki pulled out a canvas from one of the wooden cupboards before turning back to the purple haired boy.

"Thanks, Denks but Eri won't sleep if you are there."

"Then come to mine."

"And deal with your emotional mess of a roommate? Sorry bro, that's on you." Denki shook his head with minuscule laughter.

"It's his boyfriend that makes him that way," The blonde said with a slight frown. "But that's not the point. The point is I want you to get some damn sleep because I'm pretty sure that bitch is ignoring you and I want to have a talk with her." Hitoshi let out a quiet laugh at that and shook his head in disbelief. "Deadass she a real hoe! She be rude as fuck I need to talk to her!"

Hitoshi's day got just a little brighter with his best friend around.
