Kabuto had seen many people before.

On his infiltration missions, he had met a variety of people with a variety of personalities. He knew what kind of person someone was after a single conversation with them. How to flatter them, what they liked and disliked, who they were friends with, the places the commonly went to, the food they ate and more.

Yet the boy in front of him was a first.

"Hey." he said, his voice dull as he stared at the two with a poker face. "If you wanna move in, you gotta sign those papers."

He gestured to a pile of papers that towered over their heads to their left, the stack swaying as if it could fall down at any moment. Orochimaru deadpanned at the sight, as if regretting doing this in the first place.

They were supposed to infiltrate and create alibis for themselves in the village, both with extremely strong henges over them. It was to make sure that nobody got suspicious, but it seemed that the plan had completely backfired on them. If both Kabuto and Orochimaru had to admit something they hated, it would be paperwork. That had been another big factor in the reason that the sannin had gone rouge, not bothering to sign the legal paperwork for his material.

"Well..." the snake sannin started, staring at the male. "Isn't it a Kage's job to do all of the paperwork?"

The boy in front of them sighed, taking a sip out of the coffee that had miraculously appeared on his desk. "Look, unless you're some S-class rouge shinobi that does inhumane experiments and just came here to create alibis in case your neighbors got suspicious, I highly doubt that you'll get in without the paperwork." He gestured to the enormous stack of papers, the pile looking like it was about to fall over. "So get to it."

Kabuto narrowed his eyes, put off guard by the oddly specific description that his mentor just happened to fit. The oldest of the three took notice of how tall the stack was, debating on whether it was worth it.

However, before either could reply, the raven-haired boy waved them off, taking another sip of his drink.

"Go." he commanded, putting his feet on his desk. "As your new Kage, I order you to leave and fill out all of that."

Kabuto glanced at Orochimaru, who nodded for him to take the papers, then stepped forward to pick it up. The two shinobi took their leave, the younger of the duo struggling with the sheer weight of the paper, before they were stopped by the young Otokage.

"My name's Akira Sensu." he called out. "I think I should tell you that."

Orochimaru gave a small smile, before properly introducing the two. "My name is Suneku." he said, then continued, "and that's Toshio Hamada."

The room was silent for a while, the unnerving silence making the two shinobi a bit alarmed.

"You know..." Akira started, the male frowning. "I never asked you."

The grey-haired male became irritated, his lips twitching downwards. This boy was the very embodiment of the traits that he hated in a person.

Orochimaru, however, was amused by the boy. He would have to do some digging to see who exactly were the Sensu clan.

After all, from that moment on, Akira Sensu would be their leader In a Land Hidden in Sound.
