"RUN!" A man yelled. "SAVE YOURSELVES!"

My eyes widened at the sight of the man covered in blood. He sat in the corner, surrounded by demons. I started to run towards the man as if my legs had a mind of their own.

"T-tanjiroooooo!" Zenitsu stuttered as he stood behind a brick wall with his eyes shut. "Let's do as he said and run!"

I just kept running towards him. I couldn't let that innocent man die. I drew my sword and roughly sliced through the demon's arm. Its screech was horrifying and filled with agony.

Suddenly i felt a great force push me down onto the ground. I felt something painful but didnt know what it was till i felt the pain go deeper. It was... A sword?

The sword sunk in deeper with made me holler. DONT GIVE UP! ITS JUST A LITTLE PAIN I yelled in my mind but i knew it was bad. I slowly stood up, feeling the sword slowly slide out.

The man slouched against the wall and looked at me with wide, horrified eyes. "Kid run! Leave me here" he said softly but i didnt listen.

"Get somewhere safe. Ive got this under control alright?" I said with pain crawling up my body. I slowly pulled the sword out and looked around for the demon. "Where... Are you" he asked as if the demon would talk right back.

I sniffed the air but... The wind was blowing the demon's scent everywhere so I couldn't tell where it was. Suddenly i felt my mouth covered by something cold.

Suddenly Tanjiro's mouth was covered by a cold, dead hand. It was... A demon.

Tanjiro tried to escape but the demon stuck his finger into the wound. The boy yelled, but it was muffled due to the hand.

Zenitsu started to shake behind the wall. "Sh-should i run with Nezuko on the box?" He asked himself. He nodded hesitantly as he began to run. "sorry Tanjiro but ill go get someone who can actually help"

Tanjiro felt something else sharp in him. He got thrown across the floor with a sharp yelp. "Master Muzan still wants you dead so i guess ill be rewarded after tonight. Now, be a good boy and give me your sister. If not, ill torture you a bit more before killing you.

Kamado shook his head. "n-never. Nobody can have her besides me!" He yelled. The demon growled and stomped on his chest. "got it. Ill kill you then take her" he said with a wide smirk. Tanjiro screamed louder and tried to stand up. "GET OFF ME!" He yelled before getting on his hands abd knees. This didn't last long because he got kicked down and stabbed in the shoulder. The demon kept twisted and turned the blade which made the pain worse.

This pain. Its like nothing ive ever felt. Its different from regular stab wounds. It feels like salt and lime were poured on it. I felt the pain increase, as my face was planted into the ground. This is the end isnt it... Ill be there soon mom, dad, Takeo, Hanako, Shigeru, ill be with you soon. Im sorry Nezuko. I cant find the cure for you. But suddenly, everything stopped as if...

Why isnt anything happening? Am i dead? I have to be dead. There is still lots of pain but... The stabbing stopped.

I slowly turned my body to lay on my back. The demon wasn't anywhere to be seen but someone stood there, looking down at me. Was it a person? It has to be. It smells like a human, but looks like something else. It must just be the pain.
