🍊Tanjiro's Point of view🍊

"Tanjiro my son, you need to listen to me." A voice said in the distance. The voice was all around and no matter how far I ran, it didn't get louder or quieter. But I was still running from whom this voice belonged to. I knew exactly who it was but I wouldn't allow myself to bring up his name. "Tanjiro! This is important! Stop trying to run from me."  He said with sadness. My legs suddenly stopped as I stood there, motionless. I decided to listen to what he had to say. "Tanjiro, I know this is unsettling but I have something important to say. This will change your life so make the right decision because next month you will..." And suddenly, the voice was gone and I was splattered in blood. 

When i awoke, i felt pain in my chest. My eyes went wide, remembering what happened in the dream. "FATHER!" I yelled but suddenly regretted it when i felt a rush of pain go to my throat.

"Shut up will ya" Someone said with an aggressive yet calm voice. I looked over to see a person sitting in the chair next to me. My first reaction was to, of course, think it was a demon. It had a boar head and I've never seen- wait, yes, I've met him before. He saved me last night.

"Where am I? How did i get here?" I asked and sat up slowly. Then it hit me. Where were my clothes?

"Y-YOU PERVERT! WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME WHILE I WAS UNCONSCIOUS!" I yelled and hid my body under the covers. I felt blood rush to my face which felt weird. Was I embarrassed? Of course I was! This pervert took advantage of me while I was asleep. 

"HOW BOUT YOU FIGHT ME! I SAVED YOUR LIFE!" He yelled which made me jump. I looked down at my body and noticed the bandages. 

My eyes landed back on the other male sitting there besides me. "Sorry"

Is this... A joke? This has to be a joke. Right?

"HOW BOUT YOU FIGHT ME! I SAVED YOUR LIFE!" I yelled in an aggravated tone. I noticed him jump a little bit which was surprising. Wasn't he supposed to be a demon slayer?

He looked down at himself then back at me. "Sorry" The Tanjiro boy mumbled with a sad smile. It kinda made me want to punch him in the face. 

"What the hell is your problem? Get better and fight me! I want to see how much stronger I am then you!" I declared with a victorious smirk. What is wrong with me? NOTHING! I AM STRONG AND AMAZING!

Then I got annoyed and stood up. "Are you hungry or anything? I can go get you something if you are." 

The boy nodded and I walked away to the kitchen. Hopefully my cooking skills are better then before.

After the strange fellow left, i relaxed a bit until i felt my lids get heavy. Suddenly, i was thrown into another dream.

Night. The sky was dark and large trees surrounded me. The hill I ran up was foggy to the point I could barely see. "Tanjiro hunny" A woman said in a calm voice. It was like before. The voice was calm and no matter how far i ran, it didn't get closer, nor farther. "Tanjiro my boy. Stop running. Your suffering will be over if you stop and listen." Suddenly i heard kids laughing in the background. Where was it coming from? Was I going insane? "No Tanjiro. You are not going insane. Sometime next month will be your lucky day. The special one in your life will do something. Don't forget to make the right choice! To make you happy, you just have to-" and it was quiet. To quiet. All i could hear was the crickets in the tree beside me as it began to snow. A path began to lead me back to my old home. The woman talking wad my mother. What happened to her? I asked myself as my breath hitched, my pace slowly turning into a run. As I approached the house, my memory was as clear as day. The blood... And the bodies of my family.
