Chapter 1:

LUCAS

Today's the start of a new era, like a flower blooming at the start of spring. New beginnings. New hope. New experiences. New mystery. New case.

Naglalakad ako sa hallway ng building namin to bulletin sa kabilang building. I already said it to Miko to post it to the bulletin board yesterday. I smirk to what I think..Be ready Whitelist, Blacklist will bring you down this semester..AGAIN.

"Goodmorning, Lucas. " Bati ng mga nakakasalubong ko sa hallway.

"Goodmorning." Bati ko pabalik sa kanila at dire-diretso sa bulletin board.

Judging by their faces filled with enthusiasm, I wasn't the only one looking forward to this day. My fellow housemates also woke up early and started dressing up for the morning classes. May mga nakakasabay ako sa hallway na mukhang hindi natulog para sa announcement na ito.

I could feel it- The positive vibes, the scent of the morning dew, the blossoming flowers on the roadside. It's a start of new semester.

From where I was walking, tanaw na tanaw ko na ang mga school building ilang metro lang ang layo mula sa dorm namin. I can't help but to notice a sea of pure black- the official color of our House.

Welcome to Akeanan College, the exclusive school for well-known education and sports. Every Semester is having a sports fest.

All students here are sorted into four Houses, named after colors. Before you officially enrolled, You need to surpass one exam for you to know which house are you in. And fortunately, I'm in blacklist.

Our dormitory was called House of Blacklist which we blacksians stayed. The others have houses too and according to the comittee you must stay here for campus premises. We are not allowed to go out during weekdays except if our classes require it. We can go weekends but with proper security that you have to get in the Fiat Production Office.

Dahil nga malapit lang ang bulletin board sa building namin nakarating ako ng limang minuto. Dito na naghalo-halo ang mga official color ng bawat houses- white, blue, black and brown. Students here have different uniforms according what house they belong. May naka white coat, may naka blue long sleeve at may naka brown na vest minsan coat.

"NUMBER TWO!!"

Naagaw ng isang whitesians ang atensyon ko dahil nakapamewang po ito sa harap ng bulletin board. Nakaputi siya at alam mong taga whitesians siya tiningnan ko ulit yung board at nakita kong apat ang lamang namin.

Her fellow whitesians who were standing beside me and her also had the same long and sad faces as they tried to accept their defeat.

"Mukhang may naganap na dayaan dito ah?" Saad ni Leon at may pailing-iling pa na akala mo talaga nalulungkot sa pagkatalo nila.

I was surprised to see the familiar face of girl with long bangs hair. Her eyes were transfixed at the results. "But should we still be surprised?"

"Leon!" She called. "You think so, too? Kapag talaga ang House Blacklist ang nauuna hindi mo maiiwasang isipin na may dayaan."

"In my own estimation, we should have been ahead by four points. Our performance has been consistent since the start of last semester. Even if they did well, there's no way that those bastards could have surpassed us." Another Whitesians says.

"Kailangan nating malaman kung anong dirty trick ang ginawa nila." Saad nung babaeng may bangs hindi ata napansin ang unipormeng suot ko kaya nagsalita ako.

"What a good way to start a new semester." I said

Nag iba ang aura ng mukha niya na akala mo anytime sasabog at makakapatay.

"As the saying goes, what goes up must come down, But House Blacklist shall remain at the top." I spoke again.

She seem annoyed at what I've said but I'm just telling the truth and look how she's holding her temper. Poor girl.

"We shall celebrate our victory tonight!" One blacklist student shouted, "How ever, I can't help but feel slightly downhearted for the champions we have finally dethroned. Maybe we can invite other houses? If the house president would agree, that is." dagdag pa nito.

Everyone laughed in unison as if they watching something funny and I turn my back ready to walk out in the scene when someone shouted.

"Paanong hindi kayo magn-number one eh nandaya kayo mahilig kayo mang sabotahe ng iba kaya baka pati yung mga officials commitee binlackmail niyo! Hindi ba kayo naaawa sa mga pinaggagagawa niyo?" One of the whitesians shouted and turn my gaze at him.

"Fraud? How do you know na pandaraya yon? Do you have basis? This is a serious allegation." I said

"Basis? Do we need to seek for evidence kung  halata naman na?" Alex said.

"Why would you say that we're fraud? If you don't have any basis? Miss smith how did you say we cheated? You can not show any evidence that we cheated and then you are still good at blaming. I will not waste time just because we overtook you. Better luck next time, Whitesians." I said and show her my most annoying smile.

Ang kaninang maingay na hallway ngayon nanahimik na dahil sa sagutan namin nitong maliit na babae.

"Hahanapan ko kayo ng butas na hindi niyo na malulusutan,Blacklist. "Alex said then all of whitesians turn their back at us.

"What the hell is she saying? It's just a result nothing less. nothing more." I said and put my hands in my pocket.

"Hayaan mo na si Alex,Lucas. Alam mo naman yung babaeng yon." Saad ni Tracker.

"Hindi ko naman siya aatrasan. Anong akala niya sakin? susuko  na lang? Tsaka bakit hindi niya matanggap na naungusan  natin sila? Tayo? Mandaraya? what the fuck is she saying?" I said  and put my earphone in my ear and calmly walking down the building to attend our first subject this second semester.

Why can't she accept it anyway? Can their defeat lead them to death? tsk. Unbelievable.
