"Yes, I've just arrived. Don't worry, I'll take care of him." Emi said, the young woman's voice slightly distorted through her helmet. She reached forward and switched off the holo terminal, sighing as she finished slipping into her Beskar and Cortosis weave armor.
The bounty hunter had less armor than she probably should have, her armor only covering vital areas like Emi's chest and arms. For the most part, she relied on her mobility and armorweave cloak to protect her body, only utilizing her armor to actively protect herself.
Emi's ship, Drop Dead Cynical, rocked slightly as she landed. Emi sighed softly as she slipped on her armorweave cloak and walked out of her ship, onto the cool, dewy meadow grass. The surrounding area was surprisingly beautiful, especially considering this was an Imperial-held world. Peeking out of a nearby hillside was a large, dark metal door bearing the Imperial insignia.
"I guess this is it, Quinn. Pop her open and let's see if we can't find this inquisitor." Emi ordered. After a few seconds, the door before her opened, and Emi walked inside the dark Imperial bunker. The young woman stalked the halls, finding nothing and nobody among the well-lit yet sterile base. The entire base seemed too clean for Emi's taste, and was far too neat. Everything had its proper place, and everything was on a set schedule.
"God, I'm glad I never joined the army..." Emi grumbled, reaching a door at the end of the hallway. When it opened, she found what looked like a conference room, with a large dark table in the middle of the room. Atop the table sat a large orb, which Emi presumed was a holo terminal of some kind.
She left the room, and wandered around the base with a vibroknife in one hand, and a shattergun in the other. She did come across a few stormtroopers, but she managed to slip past them with the help of an old metal bolt and a very confused astromech droid.
Eventually, Emi found the room she was looking for. Large, and surprisingly well lit. Within, there were several dead Rebel officers, along with a man in dark armor, a lightsaber hanging from his belt.
"Ummm, excuse me, sir? Are you the guy I come to for interrogations?" Emi called, shutting and locking the door behind her. Her shattergun went off, and the tiny projectile slammed into the Inquisitor's head, killing him. She sighed and placed the now-empty weapon in her belt.
"Should have brought more bullets. I know you can load these with damn near anything, but metal just works better..." Emi sighed, leaving the room. She fiddled with her inactive vibroknife, using it to perform knife tricks as she walked toward the exit. Suddenly, she walked headfirst into another armored figure, wearing what appeared to be similar attire to the young bounty hunter.
The figure loomed over Emi, their labored breathing filling the young woman with dread. Everything about the imposing figure seemed tailored to scare people, and Emi would have said they did a pretty good job.
"S-sorry. I was just leaving." Emi said sheepishly, hurriedly moving around the armored figure. She didn't get very far, however, before the Inquisitor's lightsaber flew from her belt, and into the armored figure's hand. Emi sighed, and turned on her heel, pitching her vibroknife at the figure. He simply batted it aside, and placed the Inquisitor's dualsaber on his belt. The armored figure then drew his own lightsaber, and approached Emi, who swung another knife at him. Naturally, it didn't work, and the figure began swinging at Emi.
~~~Several Minutes Later...~~~
The young woman's armor was in relatively good shape, despite taking multiple lightsaber strikes from the dark Sith before her. The cortosis lining had shorted out the Sith Lord's lightsaber, but even without it the Sith was indomitable.
