~Prologue~
Makayla's POV
We were running full speed in the woods looking for a place to hide in.
"Maddox i told you not make a big deal" i scolded breathlessely as we kept on running.
He immediately rolled his eyes " We have no time for this Mak --" I covered his mouth as i heared noises in the bushes. I kept my hand on Maddox's mouth as i quietly whispered " shhh i hear something.....".
"Where" i pointed to the small bush near the big tree. He frowned as he slowly made his way to the bushes holding his gun.
I know i know you are probably wondering how he has a gun. Well here is the story...We work for the C.O.P.S ( Central Organization of Police Specialists). A secret orginization owned by Micheal Black, The most angry man you will ever gonna meet!!. We work for police but unlike them we are unknown to the city. Our job is to clear out all criminal human beings in this place and trust me this is not an easy job.
"See something you like" i was snapped back to reality by a smirking idiot in front my face. I probably looked confused cause he smiled " You were staring at my ass" I was gonna reply sarcasticly when i heared a deep chuckle coming from behind me. Our heads automatically snapped back to see Massi, L.A's most wanted criminals ( The guy we were running away from because Maddox decided to be stupid and sneek into his big house full of deadly criminals).
"Tsk tsk tsk looks like the little kids couldnt run away" Massi said as he slowly walked towards us. Maddox quickly pushed me behind him " I can handle myself " i whisper shouted. He ignored me and waited for Massi to make a move. I haven't noticed that the whole gang is here. They surronded us slowly each one of them holding a riffel or a gun.
Out of nowhere a hand roughly pulled me, i quickly twisted the hand and pulled out two guns. " GET THEM" Massi roared as Maddox and I pushed away the men and ran into the woods. I could hear guns and screams. I felt like im gonna get dizzy after 10 minutes of running. " I think we lost them" i breathlessly tell Maddox and stop running. Maddox sighed and run his hands through his jet black hair "Maky don't st--"
He was cut off when hands covered his mouth. Maddox fliped the guy behind him and started punching his stomach. "No need for the drama" a voice interupted, before i could turn around to see who it is. Two strong arms covered my mouth and i smelled the most disgusting smell ever.
My vision started to get blurry, i tried to remove his hands away from but failed. All i remember is Maddox's angry face struggling to get away from three men before i fell into darkness.
