Everyday, we are seeing different social media posts in Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Flashat app, Snapchat and many more. Our news-feeds talk about, current events, religion, many occasions, advertisements and even photos and videos of our pets. It can be positive or negative news that we could face anytime as we browse on to our favorite social media app. Saying this so, do we even always react and comment on everything that is posted on social media?

According to a study, we devote about 30% to 40% of all speech to but online that number jumps to about 80% of social media posts, meaning it is not all news that we want to see online but rather how we present and are affected by the content itself. This is the point wherein we love to express ourselves to others so we could gain affection and build relationships online. We do comment, like and react on any of the posts that we read because of approval or disapproval of the content we see. Also, we do this because we want to maintain relationships. When we like each other's posts, to the relationship, reinforce that closeness and support whatever the post is.

Though sometimes reactions are not always positive. There is also some disapproval of the content or facts that are presented online and this time the content that is posted is not pleasing and not suitable to the taste of the viewer. Giving a comment to a post is incredibly powerful to voice out the freedom of speech of the viewer since social media are a public platform in expressing oneself.

Every post, reacts and likes mean that being actively engaged in the social issues and contents that everybody could find online. The comments section of any blog, videos, news and with the viewers reviews of it, is very crucial, not so much to the person you're responding to but for everyone participating in the shared reality of comments and reviews.
