Once Upon a time , there was a guy named Gil , who was very inlove with a girl named Aubrey .
The romantic guy , folded 1,000 pieces of paper cranes as a gift to his girlfriend.
Although , that time he was just a small executive on his company , his future doesn't seemed to be bright.
But, as long as theyre together , they were happy.
Until one day , Aubrey told him , she was going to Paris and will never comeback.
Aubrey told him , that she can't visualize any future for both of them , b'cause the guy is not rich
Aubrey told Gil " so lets go of our own ways "
There and then , ... heart broken
The guy Agreed.

When he regained his confidence , Gil worked hard day and night. , slogging his body and mind just to make something out himself.

Finally with all these hard work and help of his friends
He riches his dreams ,
He had his own company
"You never fail until you stop trying" - he always told himself
" I must make it in life "

One Rainy Day , , while Gil is driving
He saw an elderly couple sharing an umbrella , they were still drenched..
Then he realize , it was his ex-GF's parents.
With a heart in getting back then ,
He drove slowly beside the couple , wanting them to spot him in his luxury car .
Gil want them to know that , he wasn't the same anymore , he had his own company , cars , condo,. etc.
He had made it in life , !!
Before Gil realize ,
The couple was walking towards to a

CEMETERY
and he got out to his car , and followed them .

AND he saw his ex-GIRLFRIEND ,
A photograph of her sweet smile , as ever , at him from her Tombstone .

And he saw his precious Paper Cranes he made , , in a bottle placed besides Aubrey's tomb.
Aubrey's parents saw him ,
He walked over and asked them why this had happened.
They explain everything.....

Aubrey did not leave for Paris at all .
She was stricken ill , with a heart cancer . ,
In Aubrey's heart . she had believed , that he will make it someday ,
But she did not want her illness to be obstacle ..
Therefore she had chosen to leave him,
Aubrey , request to her parents to put his Paper Cranes , beside her b'cause, if the day comes when fate brings him to her again , he can take one of those back with him.

Gil was still crying , Aubrey's parents comfort him .

The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside them , but knowing you can't have them and will never see them ..
