Riccardo's pov

Being a mafia leader isn't a bed of roses even with all the riches there are consequences

Even roses have thorns

All i want to do is lay down and sleep of unfortunately jack had to call me about some girl who saw them in a shootout that cant be good even though the police feeds on us there are still some officers who pledge on being good all the time

Unfortunately i had to go and fix this

Entering the basement that we kept her in, from the looks of it, it doesn't look like she is being mistreated

That's good

Only if she tries anything funny

Ray finally says" that's the girl sir she could be a real threat to us i recommend we should just kill her now"

Ray has been all about killing since that incident

But in not ready to kill this girl just yet "not yet lets see what she is capable of first"

This girl has some gleam in her eyes her light brown eyes say a lot more than other women eyes her dark long hair really compliments her pale skin

This woman is something

She could tag along with me to the ball , all the other escorts we have are already undesirable

She would do

"Sweetheart would you like to follow me to one of the most prestigious ball"

I signal to ray to remove the cloth from her mouth so that she will give me an answer

The next word to come from her mouth are really surprising for me

" i will only accept if after the ball you leave me alone"

Well durr being in the mafia means no attachment it has already costs me a lot

I cant afford her saying anything to anybody so she has to be in my care till after the ball

"Done, but before that you have to live with me till the ball"

" whattt i have college to go to if you didn't realize"

" you can go from my house i have numerous cars and drivers"

I signal jack to untie her from the chair that's when i feel  a huge sting on my face

She fucking slapped me

This is the first time someone slapped me and got away with it

"This woman is really getting on my nerves"

I don't think she didn't hear me because she didn't reply again that's good because i cant stand another conversation with her

She is a headache

Immediately i tell jack and ray to take her to my penthouse for her to get ready

Before getting home i had to make sure that the drugs being shipped wouldn't get in the wrong hands because lately my men have been all over the place and the last shipment was a total disaster and i had to kill all the men beside me the anger really consumed me and we don't want that happening again

Immediately i got home i don't even try to take of my clothes and shoes , i feel on the bed and go into a not so deep slumber because as a mafia leader you can never underestimate your enemy

As i was about to feel a little bit relaxed

I heard a scream

A really loud  scream like someone is being tortured
