Every Valentines day Daichi would get Suga flowers and chocolates, they go on a very romantic date, then do the do, you know...but this year was different he had other plans

'Daichi hasn't spent much time with me lately...what if he doesn't want to be with me anymore...NO! Daichi loves me! He wouldn't just get tired of me...right?' Suga couldn't sleep that night and kept wondering why Daichi has been getting home from work late and leaves early and why he never has time for him on the weekends. Valentines was coming up and Suga wanted to spend the entire day with Daichi like normal, but he didn't even know if Daichi would want to spend it with him. Suga awake the next morning to find Daichi gone, like always, so he got up to go make breakfast. After eating and showering he went off to work. The day went by slowly and uneventful, and the entire week was like that up until the day before Valentines. Suga got off of work early, so he had time to get Daichi a few things for Valentines. He was happily skipping until he stopped dead in his tracks. At the café, on the other side of the street sat Daichi and Yui Michimiya. Sugawara felt this feeling of sadness wash over him, but was soon pushed out by anger. He stared as he saw Daichi blushing madly and rubbing the back of his neck nervously, while Michimiya teased him about something. Sugawara rushes over and slammed his hands on the table surprising Daichi and Michimiya,

"Hey, Daichi! How's your little date with Michimiya going?!"

Suga sounded angry, but had a creepily happy smile on his face.

"Su-Suga, it-it's not wha-what you th-think!"

Daichi tried to sound convincing, but he couldn't stop stuttering. Sugawara look at Daichi with pain and anger in his eyes and said,

"We're done."

"Wa-wait, Suga n-no!"

Sugawara ran all the way home crying. He couldn't believe it. Daichi cheated on him, with-with that bitch! He cried himself to sleep that night..

"Daichi, shouldn't you go after Sugawara?"

Michimiya asked,

"No, he needs time to think and settle down...urgh, if only he had listen to me."

"It's ok, Daichi, he will listen eventually."

"I hope so."

It was late when Daichi come home, he was surprise Suga didn't lock him out. I mean, atleast tried to, he still has a key. Daichi sadly walked up stairs and turned the bedroom knob, 'Fuck.' Daichi thought, 'He locked me out of the bedroom though.' Daichi knew he had a key to open the bedroom door, but decided it would be better if he slept on the couch tonight, tomorrow was a Saturday and he didn't have to go to work in the morning. Daichi quickly fell asleep, tired from the mess that had been made. Daichi got up bright and early and decided to make breakfast for himself and Suga.

Suga trudge down the stairs and saw Daichi eating breakfast at the table. Suga saw fresh waffles, eggs, and bacon on the counter for him and a little note that said,

"Give me five minutes."

Suga knew what Daichi meant, grabbed his food and sat across from Daichi. Daichi look up, but quickly looked back down again. Suga reluctantly said,

"Five minutes, that's it."

Daichi looked up and  and quickly said,

"It wasn't a date."

Suga supressed his and said,

"Then, what was it?"

"We where just having lunch, we haven't seen each other in awhile and she wanted to meet up."

"Why where you blushing, then?"

Daichi sighed and said,

"I have a surprise for you."

"Oh, really."

Suga said, sassy and clearly not believing.

"Then why do you always leave early and come home late?!"

"I am preparing the surprise!"

"Sure, 'a surprise', don't lie to me Daichi!"

"I'm not! I swear!"

"Oh, yeah what's the surprise then?!"

The argument was getting out of hand and Daichi had enough. He slammed his hands on the table, making the plates and silverware jump, and in the process scaring the hell out of Suga. Daichi yelled,

"I WAS GOING TO PROPOSE, GOD DAMMIT!!!"

Suga sat there shocked with tears in his eyes, then quietly said,

"Y-you where...?"

"Yes, I wanted to go all out, flower pelt trail to a romantic spot with the moon shining, candle light picnic, then at the end of it get on one knee a propose."

Daichi's voice progressively got quieter as he talked. Sugawara was crying regretting everything he did,

"I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry!!"

"It's ok, Suga, I forgive you. I shouldn't have neglected you like that anyways."

Daichi picked Sugawara up in his arms and carried him to the couch he sat down with Sugawara in his lap, he held Sugawara close, as Sugawara cried into Daichi's shirt.

"We can still have that candle light picnic..if you want."

Suga nodded his head in agreement and after he stopped crying he fell asleep. Daichi moved Sugawara to their king sized bed, laid him down and cuddled up close, he kissed the top of Sugawara's head and whispered,

"I love you."
