-3 months later

"whatcha doing?" simon chuckled, entering my bedroom.

"writing stuff down."

"ooou what?" he smiled, as i handed him my notebook.

"oh."

"yep." i replied grabbing it back.

"are you okay?"

"absolutely not." i giggled, before going back to writing.

"i'm serious charli. you seem less like yourself."

"okay? people change."

"not like this. people are supposed to change for the better. not let sadness takeover their lives."

"well, maybe i didn't want it to take over my life. it just happened." i shrugged.

"i'm here for you. always." he smiled, pulling me into a hug.

"for now." i chuckled, making him pull away.

"and what's that supposed to mean?"

"you've been gone for two months simon."

"and? we texted throughout it."

"Yea. About four times." i said, adding,

"and it normally went, 'hey!' 'sorry can't speak now' 'okay' almost every time." i chuckled, remembering how much it hurt not being able to speak to him, but knowing he was fine.

"i know. but i'm here now."

"but where were you then?"

"you never made time for me. for all i know you were with another girl." i said making him look at the floor.

"holy shit. you were with another girl." i said, shocked.

"char-"

"fuck off." i said, slipping on my vans and grabbing my coat, and heading towards the front door.

"this is your apartment?" he said, following me.

"eh you and your new girlfriend can have it." i said walking out the door and slamming it behind me.

i quickly took the lift down to the car park and jogged over to my jeep.
