I walked deeper into the city, leaving behind the Imperial troops to secure the area.
As I walked I reached out with the Force to locate the Jedi. They weren't far. Maybe just a few hundred meters in front of me.
I came upon a temple dedicated to some Utapauan god or diety. The large circular building sat up against the "outer" wall of the sinkhole city.
The Jedi presence radiated from the temple like a sickness that needed to be purged.
I sneered in contempt as I strolled toward the temple, my black cloak swirling behind me like a black storm. A storm of screams and death.
As I entered the temple the presence of the Jedi only grew stronger. My hate only grew larger. I came around a corner into a large circular chamber with some kind of huge statue in the center. And there they were.
All six Jedi stood in a half circle in front of the statue, their hands hovering near their lightsaber hilts hanging at their belts.
I focused my rage, channeling it into me.
"Looks like you brought your younglings to the slaughter." I sneered, indicating the four padawans, gazing into each of their eyes. None of them could hold my piercing gaze.
Fear washed over them, and my smile only broadened.
The jedi standing in the center, a female blue skinned Twi'lek, met and held my gaze. I sensed only calm and a determined focus radiate forth from the Twi'lek.
A master by the looks of it.
"The only one that will be slaughtered here on this day will be you Sith," one of the padawans, a young female togruta spat.
I only chuckled as I gazed hard at the young Togruta. I reached into the Dark Side of the Force and reached into the Togruta's mind.
You are going to die here young one, I planted in the youngling's mind. Your master will not be able to save you.
I then began to squeeze the Togruta's heart with the Force. At first gently, then tighter and tighter. The Togruta bent over in pain and clutched at her chest.
The five other Jedi looked at the togruta, then at me. They all activated their lightsabers at the same time and took a step toward me.
I raised my hand and barked out in a menacing voice.
"One more step and your precious youngling dies where she stands."
Strangely the twi'lek remained silent. Her blue lightsaber hung beside her. I noticed the twi'lek's grip on her hilt was relaxed.
Ah, a swordsman by the looks of it. I thought, chuckling at the tempting idea of dueling the Twi'lek one-on-one.
I tightened my grip on the youngling's heart till I could feel it was close to bursting. The Togruta dropped her lightsaber and collapsed to the ground crying out in pain.
"What is it you want Sith?" The Twi'lek finally spoke, her voice surprisingly seductive. It forced me to think of my own wife.
Even though attachment wasnt exactly forbidden by the Sith like the Jedi Order was, it was looked down upon as a form of weakness.
I loved my wife with all my heart. She kept me human. But all other times I was a full disciple of the dark side.
"I want your heads. Your Order is dead. Your precious Republic will fall. It is only a matter of time before you realize the error of your ways." I paused as I let the hate flow through me deeper.
"Oh wait. I forgot. You'll be dead so you wont see your Republic fall."
I then jerked with the Force and a wet sickening sound echoed through the chamber. All eyes turned to the Togruta.
The youngling lurched up with eyes wide in pain. Her mouth hung open but no sound came from it. I relished in her pain as the Togruta's chest exploded. Something about the size of a fist flew out and landed on the ground. The Togruta looked down for a second at her still beating heart.
Her eyes then rolled up into the back of her head and she collapsed to the ground, dead.
That prompted the rest of the Jedi to act. As one they leapt forward at me.
I grinned as I readied myself. I put one foot back and took up a defensive posture.
I ducked low as one youngling went for my head. I partied the blade from one of the masters and sent the weequay flying across the chamber. The weequay landed in a crouch about thirty meters away as I turned to face another Jedi.
I took two steps back and then stopped. I formed a tight defense around me.
One youngling swing for my legs as I partied a high blow from the Twi'lek. I jumped up and tucked my legs in, rolling away from the strike.
As I did so I made a jab with my lightsaber. The blade plunged to the hilt into the young zabrak's chest. I didnt see the look on his face as I rolled away, but I felt the life force leave the Zabrak.
I came up in a crouch and blocked a strike aimed at my spine. I reached into the Force and channeled the dark side into a Force Repulse, forcing the Jedi back several meters.
I stood up and turned, taking pleasure in seeing the Zabrak youngling dead face down on the ground at the foot of the statue.
I kept my lightsaber down as I gauged the surviving jedi.
I could begin to feel fear seep through the Jedi masters focused calm. In the span of two minutes two of their precious padawans were dead.
I raised my right hand to indicate the dead younglings.
"Is this the best the Jedi Order has to offer? I expected a fight when I came here." I taunted as I let the hate flow through me. "Well it is no matter to me. I'm going to slaughter every single one of you here."
I began to pace toward where the Togruta lay, slowly. Cautiously.
I suddenly felt a flash of anger roll of the weequay as he yelled out and leapt at me.
Anger rolled off the Jedi Master, but paled in comparison to mine.
The weequay aimed high, bringing his lightsaber down in a vertical strike intended to cut me in half.
I parried the strike as the weequay rebounded and tried a strike at my legs.
I easily blocked the blow. The weequay spun and aimed a strike at my midsection, swinging horizontally.
I parried, and before the weequay Jedi Master could react I spun in the opposite direction, rebounding off of his strike as my parry forced his sword arm wide.
I swung diagonally and down, stopping in my spin facing the Twi'lek Jedi. There was a gasp from behind me, then two thumps as the body split in half from the shoulder to the hip.
The two younglings cried out and leapt at me.
The Twi'lek Jedi Master cried out a warning but it was too late.
The two youglings came at me together, one on my left, the other on my right.
I simply smiled as I easily parried each strike, dancing my blade around me, not even really using any energy or effort to block.
That was until the young female human padawan managed to get through my defense to score a grazing cut on my right forearm.
Pain seared through my body, but I quickly ducked as blue flashed toward my eyes. I focused the pain into rage, and unleashed a blast of Force Lightning that lifted the padawan up into the air and slammed her against the temple wall.
The youngling hit the ground hard and laid there, smoking and unmoving.
The other youngling, a male human, looked at his fellow Jedi where she lay, which allowed me to swing my lightsaber, cleaving through the neck.
A thump hit the ground as the body collapsed to its knees, the neck smoking.
The body hit the ground at my feet as I let my lightsaber hang low.
I gazed at the Twi'lek Jedi Master, unmoving. The Twi'lek gazed back at me and took up a defensive posture.
"This is where you will fall Sith."
"I dont think so on this day. This is where you will fall Jedi. I will eradicate every last one of you." I replied just as calmly.
The Twi'lek finally sneered, letting her calm demeanor finally fall as she leapt at me.
I took one step back and brought up my lightsaber in a defensive posture.
The strength of the strike took me a bit by surprise, but I held my ground.
I could feel anger coursing through the Twi'lek Jedi Master, and I smiled.
"Good. Use your anger. It makes you stronger. It gives you power." I sneered as the Twi'lek rained down blow after blow.
The Twi'lek cried out as she pressed her attack, and I began to give ground, drawing the Jedi Master in, biding my time to strike...
