"Wake up Addilyn your going to be late for school." Addilyns mom (Mary) yelled from downstairs.

Addilyn jumped out of bed, worried and in a rush because it would have been her third time of being tardy to school.

She quickly pulled off her black colored pajamas and put on her white t-shirt and pulled her black leather jacket over top. Addilyn then pulled on her black jeans and black leather boots. After, she ran to her bathroom and snatched her golden brush off the counter and brushed out the mats of her long wavy golden auburn hair.

When she was done she ran downstairs, and gulped down her warm cinnamon oatmeal and washed it down with some water. After she put her dishes in the sink, she rushed back upstairs to her bathroom to brush her perfectly straight and white teeth.

Once she was finished, she grabbed her backpack off of her floor and quickly went back down the stairs.

"Ready." Addilyn groaned. Remembering how much she hates school.

"Then let's go." Mary answered while grabbing her keys and walking out the door. Addilyn following closely behind and shutting the door behind her.

As they were getting in Mary's car, Addilyns father (Alex) pulled up in the cement driveway.

"Have a nice day at school dear." Alex yelled through the window.

"Thank you, have a nice day too, love you." Addilyn yelled out through her window.

"Love you too." Alex yelled back as Addilyn and Mary left the driveway and drove out of his sight.

As they drove there was complete silence.

"So what are your friends like you never talk about them much?" Mary asked trying to break the silence with a conversation.

"Well I only have two best friends, one  of them is Alicia Grayson, she has light brown hair and dark green eyes like the grass, her personality is really bubbly, and she talks quite a bit, but she is really kind." Addilyn answered.

"My other best friend is Lyla Brown, she has blonde hair with silver eyes. Her personality is shy. She doesn't like talking much, but she is really sweet and nice when you get to know her." Addilyn added.

"Nice to know that my daughter has such nice and kind friends she can count on." Mary whispered with a smile.

Addilyn rolled her eyes at what her mother had said. No one utterd a word the rest of the way to school.
