You wouldn't expect someone like me to end up the way I did. That just proves you can change your own pathway in life instead of sticking with what you knew from birth. To be honest, It could be a good thing or bad thing. I wouldn't change what I went through either. It made me a stronger woman that I have become. I never believed that things would get better like the Bible said but it did and never questioned my faith aga-

"MOMMY! MOMMY! MOMMY!" I hear as little feet run towards me. She ran as fast as her feet could take her with a piece of paper flying in the air while almost barely in her hand lol.

"Jump up my superwoman!" Holding my arms out for her. She jumps into my arms with the biggest grin on her face as she is lifted into the air. Her arms stretch out as she makes airplanes noises. I laugh and she giggles. It warms my heart every time. Money can't pay for a smile like that.

"Mommy i drew you a picture today." She hands me the picture to me and I see our stick figures bodies. Damn I didn't know my head was that big though. You will be surprised what kids draw these days.

"Mommy likes it baby girl. Where you on green today?" I asked while carrying her to the car.

"Yes and I got a sunshine sticker today. Big Susie was mad that she didn't get it but I told her karma was my best Friend like she is yours for when bad people try your life." I had shut the hell up and turn away for a second because this child cracks me up. She say it with so much sass too.

"Well I told you that fighting wasn't needed because Karma had your back today. I hope you learned your lesson too missy." I buckle her in and get into the drivers seat.

She continues to tell me about her day and so forth and I can just see the same brightness I had in my eyes as a kid. It turned dimmed til I had her. Imma start from the beginning.

On June 19th at 5:30 am, Riley Lagoon had a baby girl, Genesis Lagoon. She named me after the Bible cause she wanted my name to mean something important.

If you knew my mother, you wouldn't think she was a saint.
